If you are in the market for kitchen remodeling, steer clear of RAMCO. All oversight of the quality of workmanship is left to the homeowner, and RAMCO gets offended when you question the quality of the job. Also, materials used were subpar, with visible cracks in the cabinet doors days after installation. Drawer fronts literally pulled off when opened, due to installers using double sided tape and **** nails. Cabinet doors were left to clank into one another, as RAMCO had never heard of resistors, apparently. Trim along upper valance (where cabinetry met the drywall) was left with large crack. When homeowner questioned installer about this, he was told "You can apply some caulk in it." Installer put trim there belatedly but it was done shamefully, with visible joints, no effort taken to make it look seamless. All trim cuts were done with a table saw with either the wrong blade or a dull blade and left jagged cuts that had to be replaced (but were once again left to the customer to bring up). To add insult to injury, the owner of RAMCO puts the blame on homeowner, bringing up the possibility businesses "get taken advantage of" when we pointed out the issues. He insulted us more saying he didnt care if we contacted BBB to about the lack of professionalism, saying he would not kowtow to us (when all we want is the job done). Additionally, we had ordered some half-moon lazy susans and we had to fight to get them. Owner had audacity to mention to us that they cost a lot (when we were the ones buying them). RAMCO had never heard of them, and it was up to the homeowner once again to do the research. When the bathroom granite was installed, it was left to the homeowner to do all the plumbing himself. And, the project is ongoing still. What was promised to be a 3-5 day project has taken past 18 months at this point. The owner of RAMCO insists this is incorrect, "you have a completed kitchen," yet this is untrue because there are many things that need to be fixed.Review from Kim C

RAMCO installed nine windows on the front of my home -- we couldn't afford to replace all the windows at the same time. But we were so impressed with the quality and service, we're now working with them to replace our other windows and our outside French doors. They seem to take great pride in the work they do, and I know they sell a really good product. They've been on time for every appointment, including installation, and they left our home spotless after the installation.RAMCO Remodel America Corporation Response

My husband and I entered into an agreement/contract with Ramco to install siding and rain gutters we paid half of the money down May 2022, we were told by the salesman that it would be 6 weeks to 2 months for them to get the materials and they would call us and make an appointment to set up a time for installation. We are entering into the 6th month, every time there was a phone call made I had to call them. Excuse after excuse, 3-4 more weeks, we are running behind, we had to get another installer. Not once have they let us know that the materials were in their warehouse until I asked if we could get our money back and they stated no because the materials were there. No one has initiated a phone call to tell us anything. I left a message for the salesman **** to call us but he has not. We went with Ramco because they have been in business for a long time, they had good reviews on their website and seemingly good products, what a mistake!!! We want our siding and rain gutters installed, you should hire reputable contractors to help you if you don't have the help you need. Very dissatisfied .RAMCO Remodel America Corporation Response

I gave one star because you have to rate the company. My complaint is concerning the sales rep. who came to my home. His name is Anthony W*****. He arrived to the appt. late and thought he was coming for a kitchen consult. My friend and I both said no you are here for a window consult/quote. Everything was fine until I told him I wanted to confer with my son concerning the price of the windows. He became livid. He stood up and said everyone who was involved with the process should have been there for his presentation; because he would have gladly sacrificed a Saturday or Sunday to present when my son could be there. He stated he had paid consultations and clients' who paid for his consults. He pointed his finger at my best friend and told her she was rude for interrupting him with questions. She apologized to him. He did not acknowledge her apology. I asked for a copy of the quote to share with my son and he snarled. I'll e-mail it to you within 24hrs. and what's your e-mail address? He snatched one of his business cards out and shoved it to me. He started out as Mr. Nice Guy and became No more Mr. Nice Guy ( a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde transformation) when I did not commit to signing for the windows following his presentation. My next question would have been the price for repairing just the damaged windows. But, his outburst stopped me from asking. This happened on 7/28/2021 . I contacted Ramco by phone on 7/29/2021 and spoke with CSR Kelly concerning his behavior. She said that did not sound like him and said she would make a note in the system and have the general manager call me. I have not heard from the general manager nor received a copy of the quote which at this time I do not need or want. I just wanted to caution future customers to have someone with them especially if they are senior citizens. He would not have done this if my son had been here instead of two senior ladies. His tirade caused me to become angry and my blood pressure went up dangerously high because of his mistreatment of us.
