Hilltop was excellent. I always go with BBB- recommended, and local as well. The plumber came as scheduled, very pleasant and efficient. The job was a simple, shut-off valve replacement, and he was fast. Since it was a 50-year-old house, he suggested replacing the cold water, one too; I agreed as it would avoid the cost of a future, separate call, and it was super simple and fast, thus very little extra cost to do it now. I was also concerned about our regulator, but he determined it was an unrelated non-issue. No plumbing is cheap but Hilltop definitely gave great value for a very fair price. For me they will be my definite go-to for plumbing issues!

Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd was called to our building to fix up the mess that Hillcrest Plumbing had made in 2021. We have since used Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd of ********** numerous times. Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd of ********** is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Their ******************* Staff, and Supervisors are all knowledgeable, don't BS you with stuff because you are a Woman, or disrespect the Owners in the building, they left the work area CLEAN. If the Technician was not entirely sure about something he called and asked his Supervisor or a person who has been in the business for 30 years how to deal with the problem. We are so impressed with the INTEGRITY of Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd, that we are now using their new section Hilltop Electric to service our building. If a percentage had to be given out of a 100% we give Hilltop Plumbing & Heating Ltd a rating of 100% - this company can be employed to work in your building, home, business without hesitation.

Hilltop was hired to install an air conditioner. The day of install, two *very ***** apprentices arrived with one qualified (journeyman/ticketed) HVAC installer. So as to not embarrass the trainees, I phoned the company to express my concern over non-qualified people installing my air conditioner. Hilltop said they use apprentices as part of their service delivery. I shared that I was not comfortable with apprentices *doing the work but was okay with them observing. Approx. 15 min later, a man named Brett from Hilltop walked in my front door (without knocking) and began to question me about my request/call. I reitterated that I was not comfortable with the apprentices performing the work. He asked me, do you me the intricate work? I said- any hands-on work and shared I was okay with them observing, helping lift, etc as it's a large unit. He left and I proceeded with my work meeting in my office. When my meeting ended, I stepped outside to see the truck had left and nobody was there. I called Hilltop and they said they would not perform the work if the apprentices could not be utilized. The Hilltop employee then told me that they "record all their calls" (?). VERY POOR EXPERIENCE. ** ***** ** ****** **** ** ** *** **** **** ******* ******** ******* ** *** ********** ** ************ Hilltop did not share that they have an apprentice program or explain that non-qualified persons would be part of my install. The HVAC ticket seems to be a complex certification and naturally, one would want to be advised if non-qualified persons are performing the work. Again, I had no dispute about the ***** men observing to learn. In fact, the Hilltop employee referred to them as "the kids we sent out today...". Along with the lack of disclosure, the manager who appeard in my home was ***** *** impolite. He niether knocked nor removed his shoes. Very poor service indeed.

Hello *** *******, We received your recent review and would like to take this opportunity to respond and clarify the events of Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Our fully ticketed, Journeyman Technician arrived to the job site with 2 apprentices to install an air conditioning unit in your home. In regards, to the two apprentices that you were not comfortable with, one ***** man is a indentured apprentice and is a full-time employee with Hilltop. The second ***** man is a student, **** * ***** **** ****** who is working at Hilltop on a 3-week C0-Op program. This individual is in an “observing” position only. Hilltop is proud to sponsor local students in the trades program. It is industry standard that installs such as this are completed by a ticketed journeyman and an indentured apprentice. Please note that it is also industry standard that for any work completed by an apprentice that it must be reviewed by a journeyman. It is not common practice to provide a description/status of the employee(s) that we assign to installations and or service calls. This is the first time we have ever been questioned on this. It is common practice for all Hilltop employees to be professional when in the home of a customer and if this was not the case, we do apologize for that. We feel it is fair to note that Hilltop did not charge you anything. We were unable to fulfil your new request, the morning of the install, to not have the apprentice complete any work required to complete the install as he has done many times for us. Unfortunately we decided that it was best to not proceed with the install. If any of these concerns were raised at the time of the free estimate, we would have been able to make it clear at that time that we are in line with industry standards and do utilize apprentices.

My furnace was not turning on. I asked my neighbors who I should call and they ALL replied Hilltop! Great company. The receptionist was pleasant and found me a spot. The technician that came out was very polite and explained the repair to my furnace very clearly. Cost of the repair was fair. I would highly recommend Hilltop to anyone needing assistance.
