1 starBe prepared for a horrible delivery experience. It took this company two attempts to deliver my shed during which they ran into a telephone pole, hit a transformer box, blocked the only thoroughfare in my small neighborhood causing traffic to back up, made huge ruts in my neighbor’s yard, got the truck and trailer stuck, almost tipped over my shed on the street damaging the shed. I am a senior citizen who is also a widow, so I was going through this alone and I think they took advantage of me.
The regional manager was on site during the first delivery attempt and verbally took responsibility for the damage and said they would “make it right”. Their idea of making it right was a $200 gift certificate which in no way would compensate for the damage done. In addition, when did it become my job to act as their general contractor to fix the damage they created? Not only was there physical damage, but it took one of my neighbors an hour and a half to help them get their truck unstuck. Thank goodness he has experience with heavy equipment and could walk the inexperienced driver through the process. The driver sent to make the delivery, nice guy, but only on his second day of work; he was under trained and unsupported.

Theresa, we sincerely apologize for the difficulty experienced during our delivery. We offered your neighbor to repair the minor rutting to their ditch, which they said was simply not necessary. We also offered you a good-faith gift card for the inconvenience we caused you, which you refused, instead demanding a $2,200 discount on your building. This demand was completely disproportionate to the situation. 1 starBeware.. They don’t even deserve half a star. Had a complete unforeseen emergency due to an immediate death in the family and attempted to see if they could help us out so we wouldn’t have a late fee or get behind on our payments or to see if they could roll back a payment under the circumstances, and they wouldn’t do either. They said you have to make atleast 10 payments and I’ve only made eight. I’m very disappointed in the treatment I received by customer service here, considering they claim to have impeccable customer service, she acted like she didn’t even want to ask the manager if they could assist us in any way. They wouldn’t even wave the late fee. It’s disturbing.Graceland Portable Buildings

1 starI have been trying for weeks to get this company to honor their warranty. The paint is so thin in places that bare wood is visible on all sides of the building, and the door leaks. I have seen several reviews about the doors leaking on their buildings. They refuse to honor their warranty because I have added onto the back of the building, which has NOTHING to do with their lack of quality on their building paint and door.

1 starThis is a horrible company, they lie that they have the best customer service. These people are so rude and they treat people like garbage. This company stole my shed from me that I was paying for because I couldn't pay 450.00 to have it moved from one house to another. I beg them several times for assistance with the move. I'm completely paid up with my monthly payment. The director of the company is very rude and disrespectful. If you purchase a shed from this company you will be disappointed. We are genuinely sorry you are experiencing financial difficulty. Unfortunately, we could not stay in business very long if we let everyone keep our buildings who is having difficulty making their payments.
The agreement you signed to rent-to-own one of our buildings was legally tied to a specific address, so you can't just pick up our building and move it to another address without telling us -- especially if you are not current on your payments.
These are the reasons we had to repossess our building.
We genuinely hope things get better for you soon, and we sincerely wish you nothing but the best.

1 starOverpriced, Extremely Inexpensively made, and if you were to follow the contract and not breach building you are making it to a home you technically can't run power or water. In Short I've had my building since 2020 I'm slowly building it but haven't nearly completed yet, my problem is that over a year ago I fell behind more than 3 months and they came to repo my home. They would have took all my belongings and materials however, due to I was not there at the time my mom lives next door and she came out to stop the man and find out how much to get the payments back on track. The man had cut all my Strap Tie Downs, He didn't fix them when he left even tho the building is on contract so if something happened now it would be his negligence. The installer also left a critical spot on the down the hill portion of my beams without a pillar when he installed instead of leaving the pillar he said he had to leave on the high side inner beam. I voiced my concerns to Graceland finally a month ago and they told me they would call me I haven't heard from them , they also informed me that I will be paying for them to come reinstall it more than likely. Terrible experience I owe a little over 2k on a way over priced 19k building and I wish I would have built my own home from scratch, I will be so happy and relieved if and when I get this building paid off!Review fromFred M

2 starsPurchased a 14X28 Lofted Barn in September 2020. Basically, satisfied with the construction of the building structure. When we purchased the building one of the sales pitches was the durability of the siding and paint. The paint began peeling in a few spots within 2 years. Now the paint is peeling all over and the building needs to be completely stripped. The siding is soft and are having difficulty finding someone who is comfortable with stripping the paint and not doing major damage to the siding.Review fromDana R

1 starI purchased my building and they had to build it to deliver it. The guy who delivered my building said they left the tools they needed to tie down my building in another truck and that when they come back in my area they will come back and tie it down…I have called and complained about it and on getting the run around! I owe 2 payments on my building and I need it to be tied down before storm season roll in my area! I have more that $20000 in merchandise that I don’t want to be damaged! 1 starI was sold a portable building from this place. It took 6 weeks for them to deliver it. It was delivered damaged. I was told I had a warranty. We filled out all the forms and sent pics to Graceland. After waiting 2 months for repairs we were told there was no warranty. Time to get a lawyer. 1 starI am almost finished with paying for my building. Since Covid started, I have been a little down on my luck. Husband has been sick with health problems. Found out he has 2 large masses on his liver. Been having to deal with doctor appointment’s over 3 hours away and that takes money to go back and forward. 1 starI purchased a Graceland shed in March 2022, Paid cash in full. Shed delivered July, 2022 with damage. Exterior damage corrected. I contacted Graceland Warranty starting in August 2023, that shed was not level. Causing damage to porch and supports. I have corresponded through numerous phone calls and over 30 emails, with photos with Graceland. As of June 15, 2023 this issue was to be finally resolved with Graceland paying through Warranty for the re-level and repairs. I had not heard back as of today, July 11, 2023 so again I called.
I was informed today from employee that " I am not going to get into this, you mislead me". I stated no I have not, how?. Employee repeated above and hung up on me.Graceland Portable Buildings
