I had **** Banks power install a system on my 2016 Ram ******************** around $6500 I believe. Drove truck home no problems. Took 5th wheel out and Id say about ******* miles with new system, check engine light came on. I called **** banks and explained what was going on, sales manager told me it is the Air box causing the issue, and that they have no fix for it. He wanted me to take truck back down to them and they would put a stock air box in. I told him I dont have time to waste taking my truck back to them to fix there problem. The pass going down to them is usually bumper to bumper every day. So he was setting up for me to take it to a shop closer to me, but that shop would need truck all day. Sales manager refunded me for the air box and sent me a stock air box to have put in. Last time I talked to him he asked if I could take to my my mechanic or me do it myself and he would reimburse me. Im gone from home 12 hours a day, and my wife has cancer. I dont have time to take truck to get done. He has never called to ask if I got airbox changed out. Why would I want to put a stock air box back on my truck will all the banks equipment, a stock one restricts the air. I though will all the banks equipment it needed more air. So pretty much what he is saying that once he changes air box, engine light will go off, I call B.S. on that. When I first called the technical support pretty much told me I wont be able to get truck smogged in good ole **********. Almost to the point to having them remove whole system and get money back and figure something else I can put on. I would really like **** Banks to see this complaint. Maybe he would have a solution to whats happening, because according to sales manager thier engineers cant figure it out,hmmm. Odd
