My debt was shown as paid off the 30th of June, 2021-they took another payment out in July of 2021 for $216.13, my money-they somehow had additional fees that brought my total to $128.48 out of the payment they had taken after my account was "paid off"-$87.65 in additional charges on a account that was paid off the month before-then they waited until August of 2021 to refund the money they had screwed me out of the month before-did I get the $128.48??? No, they tacked on an additional $9.75 for custodial fees on a account that had been shown with a zero balance 2 months before- bunch of crooks!!! Buyer beware!!!

First of all, I would like to thank you for sharing the experience you had with the Mediator Law Group. My name is Kevin Rice, I am the General Manager here. I left you a message today on the phone numbers we have on file. I love two things; 1. HAPPY clients 2. clients who finish our program by saving money on their debts. Sure, seems like we missed the mark on number one by only accomplishing number 2.
If you give me an opportunity to make you happy I am certain we can accomplish both. After reviewing your file, I see where the confusion is, and I take full responsibility for my Team not communicating better with you.
The simple thing is that when all of your debts were paid in June, just like you said, there was still an outstanding fee due to the firm according to our agreement of $78. When you add the $9.75 monthly fee for Debt Pay Gateway it brings the total to $85.75. By the way, that $9.75 is a fee for your Special Purpose Account Holder Debt Pay Gateway, not the firm.
None of that really matters at this point, what matters to me is chatting with you to find out how we can make it right. I want to make you happy enough that instead of a negative review you are going to turn around and write a glowing review about Mediator Law Group.
We all make mistakes. I was once told; the true measure of a person and a company isn't if they make a mistake it is how they respond when they do. I love that saying mostly because I believe it. After speaking with Mr. Rice, he explained the charges to me and offered a settlement that I think is more than fair. I want to change my review to 5 stars, was really done right by Mediator law group, would recommend that anybody with the problems I had to use them and that they will be treated fairly
