On December 2023 I started to receive calls and emails regarding buying a 2024 Toyota Camry at Toyota Northridge. I did not purchase a vehicle. I used to take my car for maintenance services but stopped about 5 years ago. When I tried to inform the Toyota representatives, I did not purchase a car no one can give me answers as to why my phone number and email was added as the buyer. I finally manage to speak to Manager and was informed the person who bought the ************************************************* and must have used my information instead of hers. He continued to explain while completing her paperwork they used my email and phone number. The manager assured me he would fix this and update her information but now I am receiving calls from *********** Auto that I owe a total of $646.37. I called *********** and confirmed that it was not my account and informed them of the mix up, but I am still getting calls from ************

We drove over 2.5 hours because they had a nice car at a good price and quoted us a payment we felt comfortable with. When we got there just before closing they did the paperwork & the numbers were much higher. We told them that wasn't at all what we were told ****** worked some numbers to bring it down but it still ended up being more than we had been told originally, & if we had known that before driving all the way down there, we wouldnt have. But this is the reason why I am giving a zero star review & will never buy from Toyota again... We had the car for a week when I went to drive it and it wouldn't start. It ended up being the battery from 2018 had never been replaced or serviced. They sold us a car with a fiveyo battery that was completely dead. Less than a month later, the brakes started squeaking. They also needed replacing. We have owned Toyota cars our entire adult lives and have never had this terrible experience. We expect a car from a big dealership to be reliable for at least the first year.Their 150+ points inspection that they boast about means absolutely nothing. Anyone with a brain knows the 5 yo battery should be replaced when you are selling these vehicles for considerable prices. They were quick to tell us that the battery is not part of the warranty we paid for. That shouldn't matter because we had just bought the car. They told us we needed to drive to ***** ****** would consider replacing the battery. We live 3 hour away in traffic & have 4 children. If you sell someone a battery that is dead in a week, you really ought to comp them at a Toyota location near them instead of taking up more of their lives. It would've cost them $150 to make things right and not to get this negative review.Disgusted w/ NT & after 4 different cars (my good experiences were at the Orange location) we will no longer be buying Toyota. I really hope not getting our $30-$40k purchase every 5 years was worth saving money on that battery and these **** brakes.
