Spark Awards

The BBB Foundation Spark Awards program honors remarkable entrepreneurs and new businesses in our community. Honorees of this program are businesses that have been operating for three years or less, or businesses with owners aged 35 or younger. 

This is BBB’s chance to spotlight the next generation of business community leaders and deliver on our mission to celebrate marketplace role models. 

Do you have a business that has been operating for three years or less or are you a business owner aged 35 or younger?

Does your business demonstrate a high level of character, generate a culture that is authentic about its mission, and go above and beyond for your community? 

If you answered "yes" to the questions above, then it's time to apply for the Spark Awards!

For the first time ever, BBB is offering multiple ways for you to apply: you can either write your responses OR upload a video of yourself talking through your answers to the criteria prompts. It’s never been easier to throw your hat in the ring for an award based on trust and integrity!  

Read the Business Application Terms and Conditions here before you begin your application. Completed Spark Awards applications are due by Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 11:59 pm PDT.

The Torch Awards application opens May 1. Check the Torch Awards webpage here on or after that date to get started.
