BBB Southeast Texas Foundation Diamond Awards for Businesses
Better Business Bureau’s annual Diamond Awards for Excellence honor businesses that demonstrate excellence in the marketplace. Selection is made from a variety of applications from the Southeast Texas business community by a volunteer panel of judges. BBB Accreditation not required to participate. Nominations are helpful but not required to apply. The event is presented by the BBB Southeast Texas Foundation.
Marketplace Ethics and Diamond Awards
The vision of BBB is "an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other”, and our mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.
It was with that in mind we launched our annual awards program to recognize those businesses committed to ethical and sound practices in the marketplace. Every year, we encourage businesses to be nominated or submit to receive Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas's Diamond Award for Excellence.
BBB has created and enhanced the Diamond Awards for Excellence program to one that emphasizes the importance of ethical practices, as well as, showcases the efforts being made by businesses that validate their commitment to increasing trust in the marketplace. Because of their efforts and accomplishment, we have ensured that each winner will have a distinctive opportunity for acknowledgment and public recognition of their achievement.
Diamond Awards for Business Categories:
Mega Business: 250+ employees
Large Business: 100 - 249 employees
Medium Business: 25 - 99 employees
Small Business: 5 - 24 employees
Micro Small Business: 1 - 4 employees
Additional Categories
(must be 51% or more in ownership)
Veteran Owned Business
Minority Owned Business
Being selected as a BBB Diamond Award winner is an honor and includes the following recognition:
- Inclusion in a press release announcing winners.
- Announcements made via BBB’s social media channels.
- Lifetime use of the BBB Diamond Award Seal
- Winners are required to maintain at least a “B” rating with BBB
- Diamond Award trophy presentation by BBB.
- Website recognition.
- Listing on our Diamond Award recipients page
- As long as “B” rating is maintained
- At the 2026 Diamond Award Ceremony, we will also announce the winner of our 2026 BBB Industrial Excellence Award.
