Strengthening business ethics through partnership
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Business Ethics Alliance (BEA) have deepened their partnership at a critical time when businesses and consumers need trusted ethical guidance more than ever.
As a founding partner, the BBB helped establish the BEA along with Creighton University's Heider College of Business and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. After nearly two decades of residing at the Heider College of Business, where the BEA was founded in 2007, the BEA relocated to the BBB Midwest Plains headquarters at 11811 P Street, Omaha, NE 68137, in early 2026.
The new arrangement provides the BEA with enhanced resources and infrastructure to expand its reach while maintaining its independence as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Together, with mission alignment, the organizations are positioned to deliver greater impact on, and recognition of business ethics across the region and nationwide.
The BEA holds several Signature Events each year featuring local, regional, and national speakers. One of these Signature Events, EthicSpace, is a symposium-style event focused solely on business ethics. The BEA also provides high-quality, fact-based research on ethics for continuing education needs.
