Meet our 2024 BBB Students of Integrity Scholarship judges

Angilique Jones-Cornelius

Angilique Jones-Cornelius’ experience spans over the k-12 grade levels across Milwaukee Public Schools as a teacher and a school counselor for more than twenty plus years. Angilique was born and raised in the 53206 area in Milwaukee. Her mission is to empower and inspire students. Angilique is the founder of Adopt a High School Senior Milwaukee-Wisconsin Inc, her non profit organization that was founded during the pandemic to celebrate graduating high school seniors. Her organization continues to provide resources for students in need. Angilique is known for going the extra mile to help students find success. Angilique believes: “Not everybody can be famous but everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

Angilique earned her Bachelor’s of Business from Jackson State University, her Master’s in Education from Cardinal Stritch University, and a Master’s in School Counseling from Concordia University. Under her leadership, students have gained hundreds of college acceptances, numerous employment opportunities and millions of dollars in college scholarship offers. Angilique was the winner of the Positively Milwaukee Award in 2020 and the Black Excellence Award in 2023 for educational work she does with students.

Angilique is a wife and a mother of four amazing daughters. She enjoys traveling, music concerts, watching sports, and spending time with her family. Angilique is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, the Top Ladies of Distinction, the Greater Milwaukee Urban League Guild and a charter member of the National Council of Negro Women.

Dominique Hyatt-Oates

Dominique Hyatt-Oates is public health nurse manager for the City of Milwaukee’s Health Department Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness Program. Prior to becoming a nurse she got a bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Washington State University. She returned to the Midwest to work at a bilingual physical therapy clinic that predominately served the Hispanic/Latine community. Dominique then joined Marquette University’s Direct Entry Master’s of Science in Nursing program, graduating in 2018. She started her nursing career in bedside and through her experience felt drawn to work more directly and intimately with the Milwaukee community which lead her to pursue public health. Dominique has served as an adjunct instructor for Alverno College and initiated a Black African American Employee Resource Group for the City of Milwaukee. She is the immediate past president of the Greater Milwaukee chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. In 2022 Dominique started a brand CREAM Unity which is known for its acronym “Community Rules Everything Around Me.” The brand serves to be an anthem of solidarity, invest in the community, and bring awareness to organizations doing valuable work in our city to combat barriers and inequities in Milwaukee.

Karolyn Taylor

Karolyn Tayor is the Scholarship Coordinator in the College & Career Readiness department at Milwaukee Public Schools. She has Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Education from Marquette University and a Master of Education in School Counseling and Guidance Services from Concordia University- Wisconsin.

Madison Zepnick

Madison Zepnick is a Field Services Project Engineer at Westwood Professional Services out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She obtained degrees in Geological Engineering and Geological Sciences with a certificate in American Indian Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, graduating in 2021. She accepted the 2021 Haimson Award for Outstanding Graduating Student in the Geological Engineering Program based on her undergraduate research, academics, internships/co-ops, and leadership in the Geological Engineering Student Chapter. Madison received the Better Business Bureau Students of Integrity Award in 2016 for her work with the homeless population in her community, and was featured in the 2017 commercial. She has a passion for renewable energy and continues her career in the wind and solar industries throughout the United States.

Tammy Rozek
Tammy Rozek

Tammy Rozek is a Commercial Property Director with Gebhardt Development. Tammy has over 25 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate and community engagement.  As an accomplished and driven leader, she has demonstrated a history of fostering strong relationships, effectively managing financial resources, making critical decisions in challenging situations, coaching individuals to achieve success, and attracting and retaining top talent. She possesses a diverse range of skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, problem solving and organization that have contributed to her success in leadership roles. 

Tammy has a passion for volunteering and making a difference in her community and is actively involved with Madison Reading Project, Logan's Heart and Smiles, Wisconsin Women's Network, American Red Cross, DECA and United Way of Dane County.
