The Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation is a public-private partnership between Nova Southeastern University and Broward County, serving as an economic and educational development engine that connects the South Florida innovation ecosystem.

The Levan Center supports entrepreneurs and early-stage startups through the entire Founder’s Journey, from the inception of an idea to a successful exit or global expansion. It offers programs, events, and comprehensive services designed to help businesses build, scale, and thrive.

Alliance of Entrepreneur Resource Organizations (AERO) South Florida logo

Based in both South and North Florida, FL AERO is a coalition of public agencies and community nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting the success of current and emerging businesses.

Recognizing a need identified by the business community, AERO has created a free, one-stop resource for small businesses in the South Florida area. The platform offers information and resources from various community partners, all united by a shared commitment to fostering business growth, strengthening the economy, and securing the future of our community.

Dedicated to training the next generation of business leaders, employees, and consumers by educating students in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness.

Supported by over 5,000 trained corporate and community volunteers, JA delivers more than 10 unique programs to over 80,000 students annually across Broward and South Palm Beach counties. Since its founding in 1959 in partnership with the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale, JA has impacted more than 1.2 million students, making a significant difference in the lives of young people across the region.

As the challenge of operating and growing a small business becomes increasingly complex, the Jim Moran Institute remains a source of expertise and executive education.

For this reason, our focus is on assisting businesses with a minimum of three employees and that have been in business for at least three years for little to no cost. Maintaining one of the most extensive small business outreach programs in the nation, the Jim Moran Institute serves small business owners and nonprofit organizations throughout the state of Florida.

    Since 1964, SCORE has helped over 17 million entrepreneurs start, grow, or successfully exit their businesses. With a network of 10,000 volunteers, SCORE offers free, expert mentoring, resources, and education across all 50 U.S. states and territories.

    By providing these services, SCORE positively impacts communities, supports local businesses, and strengthens the national economy, helping entrepreneurs achieve success at every stage of their journey.

    The Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) offers high-level consulting and training to small and medium-sized businesses in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

    From pre-venture businesses (exploring business feasibility) to established businesses (in business over three years), the SBDC at FAU can help. Consultations are confidential, one-on-one, either virtual or in-person.
