The Torch Awards for Ethics is an annual awards program to publicly recognize local companies that have practices in place that elevate their commitment to ethical business. The program is designed to not only promote the importance of building trust, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses to help contribute to an honorable marketplace.

The Spark Award recognizes business owners 35 and under or business owners of any age operating for less than three years who demonstrate a higher level of character, generate a culture that is authentic about its mission, and connect with community.

We know that businesses are the backbone of our American economy. Their strong threads weave through our nation, tying communities together, and without them, we all suffer. This is also true of our middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky marketplace, we need small businesses. These businesses have supported BBB services for over a century, so being able to give back in a time of crucial need is an honor.

Event speaking allows the BBB Integrity Foundation to share the latest education and training for multiple topics, from the latest scams to cryptocurrency. With over 100 years of experience educating businesses and communities, it has decades of insights and industry knowledge to make any event engaging, valuable and memorable.

The Big Blue Bash is a signature event created to celebrate and engage with our Accredited Business community. During our luncheon, we will recognize Students of Integrity recipients, Torch and Spark Award winners and provide networking opportunities.

Since 2017, BBB’s Songwriters Night has been an annual event that has united successful businesses to listen to gifted songwriters, eat delicious food, and participate in live and silent auctions to support small businesses throughout Middle TN and Southern KY. To date, the event has raised over $100,000, which funds community programs and provides grants to small businesses across the 45 counties served by BBB.
