BBB Lifeline Grant

BBB has launched the Lifeline Grant, a new funding opportunity designed exclusively for BBB Charity Seal Holders. The program will provide grants to strengthen local nonprofits and help them continue their vital work. 

Applications are reviewed by a panel of community leaders, with awards announced in November. Each grant can be used for general operating expenses, giving nonprofits the flexibility they need to keep serving their communities. 2026 applications will be accepted this fall. 

To be eligible, applicants must be a current BBB Charity Seal Holder in good standing. BBB Charity Seal Holders are nonprofits that have met all 20 BBB Standards for Charity Accountability and signed up to license the BBB Charity Seal for use in their marketing materials—an initiative that supports the Consumer Education Fund and programs like this grant.
