Under Kerri’s leadership, LNA Health Careers has been voted the #1 Trade School in Healthcare in Manchester twice, reflecting its strong reputation. Crystal-Lee Thompson of Thompson Insurance has won the Torch Award in the medium business category for her outstanding community impact and leadership. Through the “Helping Hands” program, her agency has facilitated over $150,000 in grants to local nonprofits, including the Boys and Girls Club and Meals on Wheels. She fosters a culture of giving back by involving employees in community service and encouraging teamwork and mentorship. Crystal-Lee leads by example, emphasizing honesty, integrity, and transparency in all her interactions.

Since founding Thompson Insurance five years ago, she has partnered with the Allstate Foundation to lead group grant projects across New Hampshire. Her dedication to client service has earned the agency over 810 five-star reviews and the highest customer retention rate in the state. The business has nearly doubled in size through organic growth alone, maintaining elite agency status. Crystal-Lee’s intentional and compassionate leadership continues to make a lasting difference in her community.

Bruce Randall of Randall School of Karate has won the Torch Award in the small business category for his dedication to teaching traditional karate as a holistic lifestyle. His school emphasizes values like modesty, integrity, perseverance, and compassion, which he simplifies into being “affable and unflappable.” Bruce excels at engaging young students, making classes fun while instilling discipline, focus, and respect. Feedback from both students and parents reflects the school’s positive impact, with many families returning year after year.

Classes promote teamwork, with experienced students mentoring newer ones and prioritizing each other’s safety. Bruce is deeply involved in the Exeter community, serving as a Chamber Ambassador and choosing the town for its vibrant spirit. He also extends his services to students with special needs, including veterans and children with ADHD or autism.
