How to install the Accredited Business Floating Seal on Hostgator

Step 1

  1. Login to your account at www.hostgator.com
  2. On the Dashboard you will see My Websites - Edit Site

This is where you will need to install the Wordpress plugin.

You will need to install the plugin on the site.

Log into your business login on BBB.org

Choose Business Login

Step 4

If you forgot your password or don’t have an account you can request a new password or create an account on the right side.

Step 5

Navigate to My Marketing Products and BBB Seals

Step 6

Click on Get the Accredited Business Seal for Your Website

Step 7

Choose Wordpress Plugin BBB Seal

The instructions for installing the Plugin are:

  1. Download the BBB Seal WordPress Plugin - Download Here  BBBSeal.zip which contains BBBSeal.php (download arrow function on top right)
  2. Login with Admin privileges to your WordPress account
  3. Install the plugin - You will be asked to upload the zip file you downloaded above in step 1
  4. Activate the plugin
  5. Click on the "BBB Seal" link in the WordPress menu
  6. Paste your BBB floating seal code and press save

Click BBB Seal and paste the floating seal code
