How to get the Accredited Business seal code for your website

Log into your business login on BBB.org

If you forgot your password or don’t have an account you can request a new password or create an account on the right side.

Click on Get the Accredited Business Seal for Your Website

From here you can choose if you want the floating seal, static seal, or require a Wordpress Plugin (GoDaddy).

The Wordpress Plugin would be used if you have a Wordpress account such as GoDaddy.

Types of Accredited Business Seals for website:

The floating seal can go in either four corners of your website, it will float or follow as a consumer scrolls up or down on your webpage.
The static seal is made to stay in one spot on your website. Most commonly used in the footer.

BBB recommends you use the BBB Floating Seal.

Once you choose which type of seal you want you can follow the specific instructions on how to place it on your website.

The static seal has many options to choose from

Multiple size options to fit your website best.

There are several formatting options to choose from, decide which format you would like to use.

Choose "Select" under the Seal you'd like to include on your website.
This will populate a window containing the BBB Seal Code for the Seal you have selected.
Copy the provided Seal Code or enter your email address or your web designer's email address, so they receive an emailed copy of the code. You can copy the provided code by running your cursor over the entire code to select it all, right clicking, and choosing "copy".
Once the entire code is copied, paste the code into your website's HTML editor on the page(s) you want the Accredited Business Seal to appear. Example: Homepage, Footer, About Page, Checkout Page, etc. You can find your HTML editor on the backend/admin login of your website. You may need to contact your IT department or web designer to assist you with this step.
