Overview

Indiana Drug Card is a state wide FREE prescription assistance program that is available to all Indiana residents. Indiana Drug Card was launched in July of 2009 to help uninsured and under-insured residents afford the medications they need. This program can be used by residents with insurance coverage to help with the cost for any uncovered medications. Residents with HSA and high deductible policies can also use this program to help reduce out of pocket costs.

This program has no enrollment forms to complete and does not have age or income requirements. The card is accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide. To see a full list of pharmacies that accept this program, visit the Indiana Drug Card website, www.indianadrugcard.com. Also provided on the website is a medication pricing tool for individuals to price out an estimated cost of their prescription using this program.

The card can be downloaded and printed from www.indianadrugcard.com. If Internet or printer access is unavailable, residents can call Indiana Drug Card and request that a card be mailed.  Cards are always available in bulk for distribution to residents by calling Indiana Drug Card. Indiana Drug Card is constantly working with a growing number of cities, towns, clinics, hospitals and urgent care centers to ensure cards are available throughout Indiana. All cards come pre-activated and ready for use.
