I paid 5 dollars to send a "gift card" to someone, just for them to have to follow a link, fill out stuff, and give their bank information to receive funds by transfer in a couple of days. This is not at all how this was advertised or explained during the purchase process. I could have just venmo or zelled them MUCH easier.

All I want is a refund for $160.00 because it is to difficult for our friends to redeem this gift card. They sent me to another site and they wanted me to pay them a fee. I'm not sending anyone anymore money. I just want a refund and they have not responded to my request. They make it very difficult to redeem. And are not very responsive to any complaints.**** ****

Got a gift certificate on line for a restaurant / When we went to use it restaurant said they only give out their own gift certificates - never use a service. We are out $50. I wish I had checked reviews before dealing with them . Never use Giftly again.

Total scam, I purchased a card for a family member. It never arrived. This co needs to be shut down and charrged

Complete SCAM. They are getting away with their business practice because they tell you up front on their website what their process is. ********. We received a Giftly card in the mail thinking it was a legit gift card to a local restaurant from a family member. When the restaurant refused the gift card, we contacted Giftly, and this was their response:"When you are given a gift through Giftly, you are receiving money with a suggestion for spending. It's not a traditional gift card. You'll redeem the gift at ************************ to receive the funds that you were given - either on a **** gift card in the mail or directly to your bank account or ****** account."THIS IS THE PROBLEM: Besides for the fact the person buying the present is literally just sending a stranger money and trusting that stranger will one day send that money back to the intended recipient, when the recipient goes to retrieve the money, they are asked for all kinds of personal information including your DOB! NO WAY are we freely giving our personal information out like that!

Fraudulent outfit! Should have done more research. Looked legit but I was fooled. Dont waste your money. My son never received the gift card. Nice 40th birthday gift! How embarrassing. Their customer service makes every excuse possible and when I disputed the charge with my credit card company they lied and said my son redeemed it. After telling us they sent it and resent it twice. Im beyond furious. Why are they still in business?

I wish I would have found this before I wasted my time.I bought 2 gift cards to help out a friend, to the tune of $900.Both were eventually cancelled by them, with no legitimate reason given.They say it was for 1 of 3 reasons but they dont tell you the reason.I bought them at the same time, one was Cancelled the next day.The second was in limbo for 4 days but on the site it said it was redeemed.I logged in and requested to resend the confirmation and they did, it stated the transaction was complete and redeemed.But the recipient tried to redeem it but it never showed up.I think they were hoping we would just stop asking and move on.The recipient kept emailing and they gave them the run around first saying the order was invalid and they couldnt find it, then telling them it was on hold for more information and they will resend the request for more info.I then decide to email and complain and ask why it showed as redeemed if it really wasnt redeemed.I didnt get a response to that and a little while later I was notified it was cancelled.Interestingly enough, the person who responded to the recipients complaints and the person who responded to my inquire asking why the first one was cancelled 4 days prior was the same individualColleen.Oh how I wished I would have found this abysmal review rating beforehand.And by the way, this is the first time I have EVER been bothered enough to do this.

Such a total scam. Bought a $50 gift certificate for a Friday delivery. Never received. Monday I asked them to resend it. Still never received. Asked them to just send it to me and I would do the activation etc and still never received. Such a BS waste of time. No humans to talk to and correct this. Cant even get my $ back.

Scummy - you give them x dollars and the restaurant name you want the image to appear on the email just so they can say it's a "suggested" use.Then to redeem its either direct to bank (you have to enter your bank information) PayPal, or a visagift card on the giftly website...don't give to vendor of where the "suggested" gift card is be used they won't accept it since it's not a real gift card!You're better off handing the person x dollars if you aren't able to give them a tangible gift card to business of choice.This is glorified venmo, where if the person never goes in to claim they just get to keep the money you gave them, banking on the fact that billion dollars of gift cards go unused each year.Really a shifty business here, borderline scam, definitely misleading.

Its FRAUD!!!!! Im glad I didnt supply my bank information! I waited for the **** card in the mail and it doesnt work anywhere!
