      MINTERCHANGE.ON 2/13/24 I DEPOSITED $1000 IN KRAKEN'S CASH ACCOUNT ON 2/12/24 USING PLAID. ON 2/13/24 WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO BUY CRYPTO I DID NOT HAVE THE DEPOSIT IN MY ACCOUNT.ICONTACTED SUPPORT AND RECEIVED A E-MAIL FULL OF GIBBERISH SAYING MY SECURITY HAD BEEN VIOLATED.IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE DO.-***************************

      I signed up for kraken and was able to buy lite pin and withdraw to another address immediately. Im trying to use it again for a second time and I cant withdraw. I was told for new users theres 72 hour hold. I used the same payment method the as the time nothings changes I dont understand why I have to wait 72 hours and I should have been notified of that BEFORE buying crypto. Im calling my bank to get a refund since their support will not answer the phone and Ill never use kraken again!!! I mean wtf would I want to wait 72 hours for my funds get real.

      This company is horrible. I placed a **** deposit, and they held it forever and then told me that they were closing my account and I could not reopen another one. NO REASON why, and my money is lost in limbo. They refunded it back to a completely different account.

      I called ****** about a wire transfer that did not post to my account later they sent me email saying they were closing my account this place is a joke do not do not do business with these people

      Do not use this exchange unless you like grief and don't mind losing funds. I signed up and was verified with the proper ID, (************** Real ID Driver's License). A few days later when I signed in, they wanted to reverify my ID? I did anyway, using the SAME driver's license and just like that, an hour later I'm verified again. Fantastic, until I tried to actually buy a small amount of crypto, ($100). Now they wanted my bank account information, (username and password) for some company called Plaid. I don't know about you but, ***** gets that info from me just because they say they need it! Ok, they said they also accept debit cards and I have one of those from the same bank. I tried twice and BOTH times the transactions were unsuccessful, or so they claimed. I then contacted customer support by chatbot at first then by a "human" who said that this issue was being escalated but email will be the only means of contact from then on. I go to my email and there it is, "Sorry we have to inform you that we are closing your account for...b/s security reasons...and ****, yada,yada, prevent us from telling you why!" I was mad at first and then I thought to myself, you have been living an entire double life as a money-laundering, drug kingpin and you knew nothing about it. Ya fooled yourself but ya can't fool Kraken! Seriously though, what criminal uses their real, VALID ************** issued Driver's license and legal address online? Let's be for real here, they wanted my bank info on top of my other personal information and when I wouldn't give it to them, I'm gone. They are now probably going to sell my social security etc. on the black market. Something else I now have to worry about. As for the 2 x $100 attempts I made to buy crypto, I guarantee those transactions will go through and I'll have to explain to my bank why they should be reversed. That's how this story ends.

      Liked kraken until they suddenly and without warning closed my account and will not tell me why. Very unsettling and bad business.

      They tell me get a bank in my name. I did that 3 times. All 3 banks were on their list then all of a sudden it's not on their list. They take fees every time u try to withdraw. I told them let me get it in bitcoins or another cryptocurrency and they refuse. They closed my account down and refuse to give me my money

      I purchased $738 worth of bitcoins from them on 4/28/23 a few days later when I checked my account balance , it was only $651, when I asked why , I got no response but 2 days later they told me they were closing my account with them and I had 2 days to sell the bitcoins and supply them with bank account information in my name that they would wire my remaining funds to , I explained to them that my only bank account would not accept wire transfers , that they would have to send it back to the debit card I used to by the bitcoins with or send me a check,they said that they couldnt do either and they would hold my funds until I supplied them with a bank account instead that accepted wire transfers ,,complaints filed with *** *** *** ***
