Vince has completed lots of work at my house to include a new pressure tank and whole home water filtration system. Never had an issue with Reed and Sons till now. However had another technician show up to fix a small pin hole leak in a pipe and instead of replacing the 8 inch section the first time he just replaced the little spot where one pin hole leak was, $230. Then leaked again 10 minutes later and had to wait for him to come back out to fix it. Then he proceeded to tell me he would have to charge me again for this work, which was fixing the original leaking pipe. Told him I'd call the main office and figure it out with them and he didn't want me to do that. He then proceeded to guilt trip me into "billed hours" boss said to charge. Until he decided to write up the work somehow to cover his previous and then told me the office would decide whether I would be billed again. I leave for work and come home 3 days later to find the coupling he installed was cracked and had been leaking and spraying water all over my basement. So now I have no water to the house until they open again. And hundreds of dollars in damage to construction materials, tools, paint, walls, and flooring. Hard to trust certain technicians when this happens and they do not have an emergency number to call if you have any issues. Hopefully they make it right the third time around.

We had a clogged kitchen sink on a Sat night. I waited and called Reed and Sons Monday because I didn't want to pay the emergency fees. The receptionist was very nice and got me scheduled for Tuesday. Frank came out right at the beginning of the scheduled time at noon. He was very informative about our pipes, we have a bow in the main line leading from the sink to the 3" exit pipe. He put in an extra strap easily enough since our basement is unfinished and he believes this will help our slow drain problem. The main clog took two tries to snake out and Frank was very clean and conscious of keeping this messy job as contained as possible. All things considered the job was very professional and I was very happy. The only thing is the price was very high. $265! Maybe that's because of how long he was here. It took about 3 hours in total. Also I was very upset that after he left to find that there was water under the sink. My husband got under and it looks like our drain is leaking at the drain that isn't tied to the disposal. The sink is our original and is almost 18 years old, I was worried about this happening with plunging and even said this to Frank. I'm just left a bit upset that after spending so much and waiting several days I still need to get more work done.

Arrived when expected, provided prompt service and is working to expedite a needed building permit. I cannot think of anything the company could do to improve. I highly recommend Reed & Son to anyone that needs plumbing work. This visit was to install a gas line, however I have used them for other plumbing services. I would not keep using the company if I was not fully satisfied with the service and the reasonable fees it charges.
