      Moved: from ON to BC Took a total of 14 days for Sirva to move in our furniture rather than 1 ****************** arrived ruined or significantly damaged. Still missing antique carpet, replacement TV and other belongings 3 months later.Movers moved in furniture that did not belong to us. Movers dented walls all over our condo. Contract included reconstructing our king and queen size beds. Both our beds needed to be reconstructed 3&4 times respectively after they collapsed on us. One mover worked in his BARE, foul smelling feet. When we asked him to put on shoes he got very angry and left. He then denied this fact when we reported it to Sirva.Sirva refused to take our calls or answer emails for the next 4 days. When I finally was able to get Sirva to talk to me on the phone, Sirva management accused me of lying; after 45 minutes of berating, insulting me and twisting our experience, Sirva stated that they were refusing to complete the move and hung up on me. We spent an exhausting amount of time and energy; days filled with calling, emails, texting Sirva to complete the move.We were shuffled from person to person in management throughout; each rep promised they would resolve the unfinished move, only to encounter further delays. Throughout these 14 days - our condo and community hallway were filled with unpacked boxes, empty boxes, packing paper. We did not have full use of the kitchen. It took 3 different sets of movers to finally complete our move. Our claim was submitted one month ago. No one from Sirva has contacted us.This nightmare continues.....

      Ottawa, Ontario to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The nightmare of all moves! Original Booking Agent: **** **** ****** * ******** ****** ******* without Consent or Authorization, placed the contents destined for Direct Delivery to Saskatoon in their Dorval, Quebec Storage Facility, for the better part of a month. Upon arrival in Saskatoon, it was immediately evident the contents had been mishandled, resulting in significant damages. Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving, ***** *** *** *** ********, Alberta were assigned to process the Damage Claim. A Silva representative did not attend to inspect the damages. No assistance was given in organizing repairs, replacement & cleaning. Covid, was conveniently used as the reason. The Edmonton Adjuster made a low ball "All- Inclusive" Offer. The Offer was inadequate to even cover the cost to replace Custom frames for art, leaving no money for refinishing, cleaning & replacement. The Offer was countered, to which the Adjuster responded with a LOWER Offer than her first. An approach best described as despicable. A year later I await compensation for the different between the Adjuster's 1st & 2nd. Offer. Impartiality did not prevail in the management of this Damage Claim. There have been many Long Distance moves throughout my career & never have I experience such lack of integrity & respect. Strongly advise again using **** **** ****** * ******** ******* ******* Sirva Worldwide Relocations Edmonton and their Associates.

We are sorry you felt your claim was not addressed to your expectation and needed to lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in regards to your move from Ottawa to Saskatoon. I can confirm that your goods were indeed brought to a staging warehouse furtherance SK and while this method of routing and dispatching may seem absurd to you, it is common practice in all segments of transportation to consolidate goods for shipping. We do apologize that your personal effects arrived to you 5 days past the last day of the delivery window of October 8 to 21 that was given to you. In regards to the inspection of your damaged goods, we partner up with certified technicians across the country for their expertise in this function and dispatch them as required. Lump sum settlements are common practice in the moving industry and many customer rather take this option that is quick and more convenient while other customer prefer itemized settlements; the latter one is much more time-consuming and requires multiple visits of technicians to people's homes which is not always welcomed, especially during these times. Lastly, below are the details of your settlement which clearly shows that we do not cover owner packed items, this applies to all movers and is per the Conditions of Carriage that appear at the back of your bill of lading and are written by government bodies, not by us the carrier.       SIRVA Canada, Thank you for your reply. The reply failed to acknowledge the outstanding compensation balance of $751.00 yet to be paid by SIRVA. The Sirva Adjuster, Sirva Worldwide Relocation & Moving, Edmonton, Alberta, made an All-Inclusive Offer of $2630.00. The cheque received from SIRVA ,dated March 24, 2021, was in the amount of $1879.00 not $2630.00. The $2630.00 amount does not cover the cost of damages caused by the lack of care and respect for contents entrusted to **** **** ****** * ******** ****** ******. The expectation remains, SIRVA will honor the All-Inclusive SIRVA Offer of $2630.00. Please proceed with paying the remaining balance $751.00, owed to the claimant and supported with pictures and outlined in the November 2020 Damage Claim Form, identified as Registration # ********* *
