As POA, I have been working in good faith to apply for a ************** benefit for 3 months for my brother in law. Trustmark responded by sending a letter to the insureds personal physician that the insured was deceased. At that point all medical record ****************** stopped cooperating and Trustmark suspended the case. I persisted and finally got the case reinstated, and now that all of his medical documents were in place with Trustmark. They denied the claim because they used an evaluation from 3 years ago.Trustmark has done very little to honor their commitment of paying for a benefit that he clearly needs based on the evaluation from 3 years ago. Even though I provided a current evaluation, 2/24/2024, at the time I filed the original claim.I would not recommend this company to anyone.********Review from Frank K

I have been receiving calls from Trustmark for the past few months and I have notified them each time they call that I do not have insurance with them. Today I received a bill so I called and they would not discuss the account with me unless I verified my birthdate which I do not plan on providing. I have never signed up for insurance with Trustmark and I have had Insurance with United health care For the past 19 years of my employment. And though Ive been unemployed for seven months now, I still go through United health care via state insurance. I dont know how Trustmark got my information or how they are allowed to create an account without someones authorization. And I certainly wont be providing them with any of my personal information. Trustmark has failed for 5 weeks to remit our completed and paid for ***** enrollment to our health insurance carrier. After multiple instances on the phone with their representatives listening to them blame our health insurance carrier, confirm again and again that they submitted our information and that our coverage should be effective, they finally admitted to failing to submit the necessary forms. We've had to stay on them every single day for a week to make sure they submitted the paperwork as our son has gone weeks without his prescriptions. Even though they have admitted to their error, they have showed absolutely no concern for prioritizing correction of their mistake, failing to send over the paperwork to the health carrier in a timely manner, leaving us still without the coverage we paid for over a month ago. Having **************** at the employer level for over 20 years, including 10 years at a health insurance company, I can confidently say I've never encountered such horrendous service. It is criminal how they have handled our situation, and any employer should think twice before engaging in operations with them.Review from Lindsay S

0 stars. I had to chose a star to leave this review I signed up for their service when ********** required us to have long term care insurance. They cant do anything over the phone after making you hold for ******************************************************************************************************************************************************** my favorite they wont email you or send you anything for months then suddenly tell you your plan has been terminated due to non premium met I said s**** it and now I am signing up with someone else. had my policies for over 15 years with no issues when it was coming out of my paycheck every pay. Now that i am self pay it is nothing but issues! Each time i call the CSR's are clueless. I have been trying to get a reconcilliation of what was paid and how it was applied. I have contacted them thru the contact us on the website and they informed me i have to call for it because they can't email it. I called and NOW they can email it? They don't apply the self pay payments to all accounts unless it is paid in full. And even though mysecurebill shows recent payments, they don't see it!!Trustmark Companies Response

Profit over patients. Same for *****. I have been in excruciating pain while I wait for my procedures then the day before they are denied despite the fact that the doctor had concerns about moving forward with the insurances required method. They want me to wait 9 months (until next year when my out of pocket will not have been reached). Medications? Forget it! I had to go directly through the the company to get my medicine because they wanted me to pay $8000.00 PER MONTH! They refused my migraine medicine, unless I took Botox every four months which does not appear to be helping! Theyre slimy and I would HIGHLY disssuade any company or small business from using this medical insurance. Absolutely shameful.Review from Cathy G

signed up for Trustmark in **** thru my employer took payments out weekly like clock work. retired in 2020 had auto payment pulled out thru bank like clock work. just received a policy increase 59$ to 165$ quarterly out of the blue suddenly after 25 years it got soo much more? was told when i signed up payment was fixed as long as it was constant, I never missed a payment. ****'s liar's pants on fire . I suggest you put you TRUST in another company because after 25 years ( on a 14grand policy) they want you to pay more or lose the policy with no benefits to you. also they are so sorry but there is no one but receptionist to talk to. thinking class action is in orderTrustmark Companies Response

Trustmark was referred via my employer. I signed up and file no claims for a year. When I went to cancel they respond much later with a PDF. It was a PDF form so I filled it out and submitted it.They continued to bill me. When I called they said the form was 'unsigned' even though I had filled out the signature. I didn't even need to sign to start the policy. They refused to refund either the premiums after I requested cancellation or after I submitted their form. Healthcare providers beware - DO NOT accept Trustmark plans. This company paid a claim and the check bounced. The bank debited the amount from our account. ********************** says, We show you deposited the check. We have made repeated attempts to contact someone at Trustmark and they are refusing to address the issue. Youll go through automated h*** to get a warm body, ******* has zero authority to make a decision, when you ask for a supervisor, they refuse to put you through. If you are an employer/HR department considering Trustmark - RUN. This company is bordering on insolvency and you will risk good employees because you are giving them worthless coverage.
