AVOID THIS COMPANY AND ITS AFFILIATES AT ALL COSTS, I had captain clods (rods) install an electric boat lift and the lift is nearly on a 45 degree angle! and they claim it is due to shifting under water ground, lies is all they know. first they failed to install two of the four under water pallets pads? second they failed to install the ladder, third the bench and fourth the sway bars. As the leader of this band of misfits named cowboy drove away he said to me if you want it done correctly that will be extra wow ! I paid $850 to have them to do a shoddy and dangerous job,If you make the mistake of using this company you will be sorry AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST

We are upset to know that after this Gentleman sent ** threatening and harassment emails, that he felt the need to leave a false review also. Our attorney has been contacted. This is the first time we have done ******* pier and Lift. After Pier and lift were installed pictures were taken. Upon install, Lift is sitting level and so is pier. Once Customer put his boat on, he reached out over a month later that the lift has settled. We cant control if this happens (due to under water lake bed conditions), we offered to come back and make a special trip to his lake for a service fee to ******* the lift. This is where ***** Started to make threatening comments and degrade us. This project was done to the best of our ability with the product and materials he had. This was also in a very muddy area on the lake and had potential for some ************** down the road that we couldn't control.Review from Diane H

3/21/2022 Called Captain Rod's to get on the list on March 18 and got a VM saying, "we are already booked for the year." We purchased our pier from Captain Rod's and seeing we did not get pier service in 2020 or 2021, we were, "no longer customers." Our pier with four sections was purchased for around $4000. This is the way they treat the people who have bought piers from them.Captain Rod's Boat Lift & Pier Service Response

*****, I would like to make sure all of the information is correct and that everyone can see the truth. March 8th of ********************************************************************* your area. You told us our pricing was too high for you & that you would be going a different route for that year. We then called you again the following spring 3-16-20 to see f you would like to get on the schedule again. You informed us you are using the same company as the previous year and didn't need our services. After two years of not doing work for a customer, the become inactive in our computer system as not currently doing work for. During that time we have acquired additional customers and have a full schedule, we cannot take on any additional customers at this time. We apologize that you stopped using us after purchasing the dock from us, that was your choice. We hope that your previous installer can continue to assist you.
