By far the worst experience I've had with any company. For the record, the one time I've ever written a review for BBB due to the unethical practice of Home Inspection Carolina.I initially called to have a home inspected for a new home purchase. Upon getting in touch with the inspector I made clear that I wanted the charges for the inspection to be paid at closing as the seller agreed to pay for these charges, ~$800 and Inspector agreed to the same.A few weeks pass as I get settled into my home, I start receiving odd ***** numbers calling me about an 'inspection' and that I owe money, at first, I thought it was a scam, but after calling the company to confirm everything I was told an extra $300 was added for late fees and collections.Not once, was I contacted by anyone in their team about a late charge or collections, and to add, when I asked what contact information, they had on file, they provided incorrect information.I have no issue paying for the inspection in full as long as any Late fees are removed. When I explained this to the local manager, she had stated that the Owner refused to remove these fees.After calling back several times to escalate the issue I was met with false promise of call backs and returned calls, but it's clear this company doesn't want to take accountability for their mistakes. Will certainly not be using them and recommending them to anyone in the area.
