Both service and sales are completely untrustworthy i would not recommend palm *****.They have a sister store in *********** that was better to work with.I regret buying my truck because palm ***** is the closest dealers near me and i do not trust them to service my vehicle anymore.If you plan on buying a vehicle I recommend checking out the reviews and personally checking out the service department in case you need anything done in the future.I will more than likely trade this truck in and purchase from a different brand from a more trusted dealer. Note they had my truck for an entire month for service.Review from Mary G

I bought my 2019 ***** Trax from these people. I was told I HAD to get the extended warranty. I was told It is a 4 year warranty and I was covered bumper to bumper until March of 2025. I brought my car in because I have had a few issues with it. My radio was not working properly and my ac kept shutting off and not coming back on until hours later. They fixed my AC problem in 2021. I have since brought it back a couple times to figure out what was happening with my radio to be told there was nothing they could do. I recently brought it in because my water pump went bad. They told me my extended warranty was over and it would be 3800$ to fix my radio issue and my water pump. While trying to get it figured out I received nothing but attitude and no resolution to the problem. ********** has lost my business and every chance I get I tell people not to buy a car from them. Worst of the worst.. not only do they price ***** like most dealerships but they lie which is even worst. I will never return. First off I dropped off my suv for a starter.. they quoted $400.99 for parts and $554.97 for labor $1082.59 after fees,Every shop I called in Ocala was under $600 out the door.After my wife received the quote i had called ********** to get a breakdown of the pricing and was connected to a very rude sarcastic I hung up, called back and asked for management, supposedly spoke to a manager. I explained that I was disgusted with the service and he apologized profusely. I told him I was just going to pick up my suv and take it elsewhere. He told me about the diagnostic fee and that he was going to waive the fee and let me come take my car. The tow company got there to take it and they went back on there word and refused to let my car go without paying the fee. I told them I talked to management and they waived it. They called me a lier and said they asked everyone... if that was the case they would have found out who told me it was waived. So I had no choice but to pay the fee even tho they didn't do anything. If your a fan of getting ripped off and lied too this is your place!! But if you want real service that will do the job for half the cost and a million times better service call Checkmate auto repair great service great prices great people. Due to unfortunate circumstances we had to sell my sons ****** RAV4. In looking at the value on ****** Blue Book we accepted offers from dealers thinking it would be a quick and seamless sale - it has been anything but. The manager that gave us an offer that we accepted, $500 more than the company talked to the night before never really explained the process - just said the bank where the note was would hold the check for 10 days and then he mentioned the dmv but having never done this before we did not know what questions to ask - just trusted what we were being told. It was a Saturday, January 6th - he said the check would be overnighted-so, at the very latest the bank should have had the check on the 8th. They did not receive it until the 17th! It was 10 days, TEN DAYS before Palm Chevrolet even overnighted the check. I went down and tried to get the vehicle back - but could not, and did not know what to do. They had the **** the keys, owners manual, etc., the tag had been turned in - BUT, had we let ************ friend sell it for us we would have gotten a better price AND had the money long before the 17th. We also assumed a check for the purchase price agreed upon would be overnighted to the bank and once cleared the note would be paid and the balance deposited into the account - not so. They overnighted what they thought the payoff would be - the note was paid on the 22nd of January, the Title has been released to Palm Chevrolet per a bank manager on the 31st and here it is February 1st - 26 days later, TWENTY-SIX DAYS LATER, and still no check for the automobile! Almost an entire month has gone by - our bills continue to pile up accruing late fees, interest, etc. This has been one of the most stressful and frustrating things - if only Palm Chevrolet had been up front and honest about the process - we would have thanked them for their time and left. OR, if they had done what they said they were going to do-NEVER DEAL WITH PALM CHEVROLET IF YOU WANT HONESTY.Review from Willie H

Don't go down 'dere man!! Shortly after Christmas '23 I made an appointment for Monday January 8th, '24 at *********************** to have an electrical problem involving parasitic battery drain in my '18 Tahoe repaired. When the appointment was made I provided detailed narrative describing the problem complete with which circuits and subsequent functions of the vehicle were involved. In our case it was the *** (airbag) harness on the front passenger seat, along with the seat heater harness or relay. Dropped the truck at 7AM Monday the 8th and it was not touched until late in the afternoon Wednesday the 10th! Thursday AM the 11th I am told they determined which circuits are involved, have the parts to make the repair at a cost of $1200 and I will have my Tahoe back that day. It is now 10:20AM Friday they still have my Tahoe and are waiting on a replacement part for the defective one they had in inventory. I am not so patiently waiting at this time and will follow up with how things play out when I know. *********************, Ocala, **Review from Angela K

I called service for a battery, girl said she would get me in at 230 today...mind you it is still sitting where parked when I got here at 220. It is now almost 330, I am patient thankfully. Parts quoted 160 for Battery and service said 40 to install. Around 245 Scott the service advisor (he is just the messenger) came outside to move and of course it doesn't start. 5 minutes later he comes over to state the battery is almost 300 and did I still want to do it. I said guess I am at your mercy aren't I. He left, came back with my manager said they can do the battery at cost of $250 plus installation. I said ok, thanks. Let's be real, cost is not the $250 as ***************, same part...same battery is $250. Palm parts was just price gouging from the start, not much has changed over the years here at Palm apparently. This one is a bit more than an unbolt and drop new in otherwise I wouldn't be here at Palm. I don't even do oil changes here, ********** is the place to go to for that and I would have called them except I need now😕. I love being a woman and treated like crap....NOT!!!
