They left us without a/c 2 separate times overnight in the summer heat. They misdiagnosed the problem, left us with instructions to finish the repair and left leaving exposed wires laying in the inside garage unit and our load management off. Both times they left at 5 pm - they wouldn't stay and fix the problem. We had to hire someone else that came out right away and fixed it. We asked for a refund for the second misdiagnosis but they only ignore us and will not respond. I would not recommend using this company if your a/c is not working.

I had an issue in which the blower would not turn off. They installed the system, so, I called them. It turned out to be a chip issue. Luckily, I inquired if it was under warranty. It was. But, I believe they just charged me the price it would have been as labor. 2 hours for a 15 minute job. Worked ok for a.c. after fix. A few months later when winter came, the heater would not turn off when it reached the set temp. When I called for a remedy, they said they would not fix or diagnose their doubly faulty merchandise for free. I'm giving anyone but them any more money. They have a real attiude. Plus I wouldn't expect honest interaction from them.

This company damaged my property during installation and has been giving me the run around and not fixing or attending to the damage. I've been told that they have other customers they are doing business with. That's not a excuse to use because I have a problem and it should be taken seriously. They were eager to get my business but now has no respect for me as a paid customer. I don't recommend this company.

I had a recent emergency early in the morning when my air conditioner broke down with no cold air. I tried calling ********, my contractor for over 40 years and with whom I have a service contract, but they couldn't get to me until the next day. And, I'm in their record as having a health condition that I can't take the heat. So, when I called Ameritech, with whom I have no previous history, their scheduler immediately decided to help me. Sabrina sent a tech to my home with only a three hour wait. The tech called me and assured me he would get me going. It was just a blown capacitor in the compressor. He also performed a full P/M and changed my filter. I will be switching to Ameritech.

Someone I know purchased their AC system from Ameritech. On the side of the AC Handler, they placed a sticker with a graphic that says "AMERITECH. REPAIR IT. REPLACE IT. MAINTAIN IT." Do not be fooled. When their AC went out on a Saturday night, they sent a technician the next afternoon to fix it. Over the course of a four hour service call, the technician identified that the circuit board, and OEM product from Japan, would be needed in order to get the system back online. By the way, it was July in Florida. The company maintained that the circuitboard would not be available in the near future, and that the customer should call back in two weeks to check status. Again, July in Florida - with no air conditioning. Miraculously the part arrived six days after the original failure, and a technician was dispatched 48 hours later (no right away - 2 full days later) to install and complete repair. A different technician arrived this time, Alex. Alex opened up the AC Handler and within 10 MINUTES found that a fuse was bad and needed replaced. THAT'S IT! No circuit board was needed after all. Ameritech did not take responsibility for the error and charged over $400 for labor for the ordeal. ''vermind that the customer's system was misdiagnosed entirely, made to wait in the Florida heat inside their home, which exceeded temperatures of 85º inside with humidity. Alex is a great AC tech, no doubt about it. But Ameritech should have some degree of ethical standards, which they clearly have not shown in this case.
