We have been receiving letters in the mail regarding the need to upgrade our security system. In the latest letter dated June 30, 2025, the letter states "if you don't contact us and lose service, your account will remain active and billing will continue until you call us to upgrade your service."
I am not sure what they would be billing us for, as we only work with them for monitoring services. I have submitted an email to have my service cancelled. * ********* **** *** ********* ** ***** ** **** ******* ******** *********SecurTek Monitoring Solutions (Yorkton)

I would not use SecurTek, look at other options. I had signed up for their premium service and it was anything but. Upon canceling my contract, they had continued to bill me in quarterly increments; what is interesting is that I had completely removed their system from my home; nothing they were charging me for was active or installed in my premises. While I understand that there is a 30 day cancelation fee of which I am fine to pay; I did not agree with being billed for a service that I did not use. I spoke to them and provided my new service contract clearly showing the date and transfer, they ignored the details relying on their contract and used collections as a means of extorting their last payment from me. ******** ********* ******** ********* *** ******* **** *** ** ****** ** ******** * ***** ********* *** ***** **** ************* after shopping around, there are far better options at a much lower cost available.SecurTek Monitoring Solutions (Yorkton)

I've been paying this company for 10 + years for monitoring. I had an incident where someone broke into my place and stole my bike while I was out for 1 night. I called the monitoring station ( Securtek) to ask why I wasn't contacted as my door was open and I had the alarm armed.
They said that I must have a phone line issue and I haven't been monitored since APR and it is NOV. I said " What?" I'm paying for monitoring, why didn't you let me know when I called for a trouble shooting issue last month?

In Winnipeg ScurTek not providing any Tecnical service I phone around ten times to inform Securatek and they just give me run around talk but no service , when I realized I ben screw for my monthly fee$ without using my alarm system - becuse it was not working Securatek was not giving my file to my new company in Winnipeg , but they charge me 3 monthts monitoring fee ????

In Moose Jaw, SecurTek has very poor customer support. My smoke detector started peeping, the monitoring station suggested to take it down because they thought it could be expired. They said that they would send a requisition for a ******* ********* technician to come and see what the problem is. This was 10 days ago, so I tried phoning ******* and got no response! I phoned SecurTek again and I was advised to call SecurTek again in 5 days, if I had not heard anything from *******. Well, I have not had any reply or technical assistance! I have been a customer for over 20 years. In the past 10 plus years , SecurTek had a very reliable independent technician who was extremely knowledgeable and prompt! I am very concerned about leaving my home because my home has no monitored smoke detector! I am extremely unhappy about the lack of technical assistance! Horrible company. I was told I could cancel at anytime yet here I sit 3 months later and still being charged. They now tell me I owe them payments until August 2025. I never would have agreed to a contract this long. * **** **** * *** *******. I also had many problems with the system while I had it and things never got resolved. Find a more reputable company. Securtek is not the one. If I could give zero stars I would but unfortunately I have to click on at least one of them.SecurTek Monitoring Solutions (Yorkton)

Paid every month. Sold house and was advised to leave the alarm system at the house and they would contact the new home owner to set up the alarm. A year later, a gentleman called and told me I owed them money and he could clear the bill for me if I buy 2 new cell phone devices off of him. I declined the offer and then our credit report was hit with a $1300 amount. We do not owe this money and it's sad that they can claim we do and negatively affect our life.
