Towing company was called to my house due to my car not starting. Worker (***) showed up and hooked up the booster cables from his truck to my car. When I tried to turn on my car it completely shut down with no dashboard lights turning on whereas the day before it worked just fine. I saw him remove the booster cables from the battery and noticed it was smoking and I asked him if he had burned my battery to which he replied that it was normal due to the cold weather. I had my car towed to the shop where my car was fully inspected and 3 hours later they called me to say the alternator and battery were both burnt/damaged because of the way the cables were hooked. In the image attached; it shows it says “Looks like it was boosted backwards”. I then had to pay close to $1400 to get a new battery and alternator. I am demanding to get a refund from the towing as well as coverage of cost from the expenses of the alternator and battery as this was the workers fault.

** *** ******* ** ************* **** *********  ******** *** *** **** ** *** ****** ******* **** ** *** **** *** * *********  I spoke with client Tuesday afternoon, received her invoice copy Wednesday morning, after she had made complaint to you and provided her ****** review.  I was confused as to why she didn't contact our office directly as our phone number and email address are readily available on our website. After speaking with our mechanical advisor and her repair shop I have been advised that it is unlikely but possible we did this damage.  In saying that because there is a possibility, even though remote, we will be refunding her the repair invoice.
