On 19/11/2024 I purchased a 4 hr house cleaning from Go2Girls. Invoice #***** For $******* The clean was scheduled for Jan14. On Jan 13 I contacted the company (via phone call and email) with no answer but received a text back saying it could be rescheduled (sick kid at home). After following up on 4 different dates (as I kept getting the run around), I was able to reschedule for Feb 27. On Feb 27 no one showed up. I emailed, called and texted again with 2 different employees ( total of 6 follow ups) and finally was able to book in on their system for May 15. On May 15 no one showed up again. I contacted them again and they claimed they had it booked for the following day (even though I got a reminder email the day before). No one showed up the next day either. They then said they would reimburse me. I gave them my email for an etransfer but nothing came. I have tried to follow up on four occasions since and have not received a reply at all. They have stopped responding all together. * **** ********** ************** ** *** ** *****

April 30,2024 we placed a deposit for renovations to G2G Holdings Inc for $******** We were given a number of promises of project start dates - none of which happened. On March 3, after numerous requests to have our deposit returned, we sent a formal email cancelling our contract. On March 5,2025 the company agreed to reimburse us in full. March 10 I contacted the company again voicing disappointment that we had not yet been reimbursed and that we expected the money to be in our account that day. They assured me that they asked Finance to rush our repayment. March 21, I contacted the company asking for the deposit to be made that day. March 24 we were informed that Finance were in Mexico until Monday (March 31). We still have not received repayment.

Our experience with the Go2Guys started on May 16th with a walk through with the owner to renovate 2 bathrooms. On June 28th the owner did another walk through with promises of them buying materials, middle of August start date (start day happened Sept. 25th), 2-3 week renovation (2 month renovation instead) and designs being send to us (never happened) to furnish them. Contract was signed early July,10% hold spot , 40% to buy supplies, 25% at drop off of materials, and 25% with walk through/customer sign off as per contract.(this didn’t happen). Once contract was signed everything changed. There was little to no communication from the owner. It became frustrating as no one would answer our calls or get back to us. To top everything off, our final invoice wanted $663.42 more than our contract stated. There was never a discussion about the vanities and countertops costing more than the contract. Beside, the tops are not the ones we wanted that were cheaper, they were the tops that the owner ordered without letting us know that they were more money than on contract. We always stated that we need to stay on budget and if the price is more that is expected we need to be notified as we would look at something in our price range. We paid the contract, not the $663.42. After that, we received threats after threats to take us to collections/remove our backsplash, no warranty. Still never talking to anyone in person, just emails, and as the threats continued we paid $663.42 to not go to collections.

I’m writing on behalf of our condo. In 2022 a 25% deposit was paid for work on our condo to be first up in 2023 season (deposit of $1,078.09 for the total estimate of $4,312.36)

We weren’t “first up” and Go2Guys arrived late June. They “assessed” for a couple hours and the $4300 on which deposit was paid turned into new estimate of over $20,000. Why was the estimate not done correctly when they accepted money in 2022?

We ceased work with them while we re-quoted with others (as the increase was too large to not start again).

We then looped back to them asking for a refund of our deposit. We have it stated multiple times in writing that a refund cheque was sent (less $300 of the original $1,078). We have not received.

Numerous unit owners have contacted via email and ******** messenger. It was stated the cheque was mailed November 2nd. We have not received.

All communications are saved and whomever manages their ******** messenger has blocked me now. I have record of all conversation and I did nothing disrespectful that would warrant being blocked. We just want back what we paid where no work was completed.

There are numerous screen captures of messages and emails so I’m not sure what’s best to upload below. Please let me know and I’m happy to provide any and all information that will be helpful.

While I do realize a condo is a “business” we are 26 homeowners who paid a deposit for work on our shared home. This work didn’t materialize and we would only like our deposit back (less $300 stated by Go2Guys).
