I brought in the ************* vacuum cleaner in April because it only made a muffled sound after I turned on the switch. I took it to another shop, who cleaned out the immediate interior, but it still wasn’t working normally. That same day, I took the vacuum cleaner over to Dependable Vacuums. On Friday, May 14, I was shown by the technician that my vacuum cleaner worked, that he had done further cleaning. A strange to me 1 part wand and a different rectangular floor brush were attached to the hose connection, and the technician handed me my original rectangular floor brush. I wanted the original wand that came with my vacuum over 20 years ago when I bought it at ********************, it had come with only 1 wand. I have never removed it nor has anyone else to my knowledge, all this time. Dependable claimed I had brought my vacuum in with no wand! I would have noticed, as Dependable stated if I had left the wand at the other shop, when I carried out the vacuum and set it in the car. I am very familiar with my vacuum cleaner. I couldn’t get the 2-part wand apart or off nor could I get off the rectangular floor brush (had to get a neighbour to remove the floor brush) on Saturday, May 15). My crevice tool and round brush attachments will not fit, this 1-part wand. I cannot use my vacuum without its original wand unless I get down on my knees. On Monday, May 17, I had them remove it and I left the other wand and rectangular floor brush still attached to that wand there May 14, I had the manager of Dependable remove the one wand that shop had attached to my hose connection. I told her I will take it with me, but I cannot use it because it doesn’t fit my attachments and the rectangular brush they’d attached, I could not myself, remove it nor their wand from the hose connection from the wand that shop had put on. I left their rectangular floor brush, without trying to remove it off their wand, at their shop Mon., May 14.
