      We commissioned Jan Pro to clean the ** ******* ********** * **** ******* ****** on Sept 20,2024.
      They were instructed to clean grill, fryer, fridge, counter tops, drawers, floors.
      They started at 12:00 pm came back at 2:00pm and said they had an hour left. I said ok lock up when done. We did not receive no invoice and we charge ******. Talk to ***l and found out we’re charge for 4 hours not 3 hours. Would not compromise on price.
      We were quoted $*****/hour. Told it would be one person not two. They sent two people.

      First of all,  Jan-Pro's 3 main values are: Integrity, Honesty and Service excellence. We expect that of ourselves and assume the same of our customers. We have done many kitchens, as well as many other reputable commercial customers as that is all we do. We have never had a customer complain that we took too long to insure the kitchen was properly cleaned and disinfected. If this customer wanted a poor cleaning job then he should have hired a smaller operation. We maintain very high standards especially when it comes to kitchens. This particular customer is a small concession operating in a hockey area where they will be service food to kids and families and we will not dilute our service because the customer standards are lower than ours. We take this responsibility very seriously, so when he called the cleaners to ask how much longer it will take to complete, they provided an estimate and the fact that the place was so greasy and filthy and it took longer, is just an indication of how bad it was. In fact he even admitted he may have to throw the cutting board out so that took extra time to insure it was well cleaned and disinfected.

      The contract was very clear in the pricing which he signed and agreed to and we had no idea he had no intention of honoring that agreement. He did mention he was concerned about the price getting away from him so we capped it at $****** which again he agreed to. As it turned out,  the price came in at $*** which is under the cap! After he received the bill and starting complaining about the price, we even reduced it a bit as we are not unreasonable, but that wasn't enough. He has unilaterally decided he wants to pay what he wants to pay irrespective of our agreement.  In the end, however I have reached out to this customer to confirm what amount he would like to pay and we will issue him a credit for the difference.

      As a result we consider this matter resolved as we are waiting to hear back from this customer. I have also attached pictures for your information.
