I am writing to file a formal complaint against S.N Roy and Associates. This complaint concerns
an error in their audit, initially conducted in December 2023, and their ongoing failure to correct this
issue as promised despite multiple attempts to get an update on this matter over the past year.
The audit contains a significant error in allocating funds in wrong categories, which they are aware of
their mistake and agreed to do an amendment and fix this. This error must be corrected urgently so
we can resubmit the revised audit to the ******** ** ****** ********. Without this correction, the
******** is requesting we return funds that we do not owe - a situation that can have financial
repercussions for us due to the result of an incomplete audit. Additionally this unresolved issue has
prevented us from filing crucial documents such as our charitable status application and our *** registry which jeopardizes our operations and reputation.
We have been actively trying to resolve this issue for several months. I last received communication on
September 26, 2024, in which they assured me that the corrected audit would be completed shortly.
However, no updates or corrections have been provided since then and all emails for follow ups have
not been responded to. Their lack of communication is unacceptable and has left us in an increasingly
    difficult position.
We are requesting Better Business Bureau’s assistance in helping get an immediate completion of the
corrected audit and a clear timeline on filing our next year's audit along our charitable status and *** registry. We hope we can get this matter resolved without further delays, as we cannot afford additional
    financial and reputational harm.

The service issues with which they are concerned arise from issues resulting from the Government of Saskatchewan changing the regulations for audit procedures. As a firm, we are adapting our internal procedures to meet the new provincial requirements. This is a work in progress. In addition there have been some additional services that have been requested by ********* ***** *** which have been somewhat time consuming.

We have provided ********* ***** *** with interim statements of financial information and a summary of the requested additional information. They have responded with a couple of questions that we are endeavouring to answer as quickly as we can.

Due to the new requirements imposed by the Province of Saskatchewan, we are somewhat at the mercy of the CPA firms that are licensed to perform audit procedures. We have been in touch with a licensed CPA firm and they advise us that they can complete the audit within a couple of weeks.

I trust the foregoing to be satisfactory.
