      On January 29, 2024 I placed an online order with Linen Chest. My order total for 4 items including tax was $117.38. At approximately 9:20pm, I completed the order & paid by debit ****. The funds were debited to my bank account @ 9:20pm. I waited for a confirmation email but did not receive one. It was Sunday night, I could not contact the Linen Chest until Monday morning, since Customer Service was closed! On Monday January 30, I contacted the company via chat, because they have NO LIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENTS TO SPEAK TO! I asked for my order confirmation and was informed there was "NO ORDER". I chatted back & forth and was finally transfered to a person named ***** in Customer Service. I repeated the situation that I was charged in my bank account by Linen Chest on January 29,2024 @ 9:20am for $117.28 and she confirmed there were no orders placed in my account and could not understand how I could have been charged when I did not place an order! She didn't seem to believe but said she would try and find out if there was a glitch in the system. I called my bank and explained the situation and they gave me information of a reference # submitted with request for payment. When I got back to Linen Chest there was only Bot Chats available,no one to speak to on the phone, just a recording advising online customer service. Since I was getting nowhere, I went to my bank, requested my current **** Debit card be cancelled and again explained the situation, and received a new debit card. Filled out a dispute form to start an investigation. Linen chest (*****) has been in touch and their department was requesting a snap shot of my charges. I replied with the information my bank gave me with a debit reference #, which should be traceable at their end, but have not gotten a response. My bank will let me know where they stand on this within 30 days. There must be a serious problem at Linen Chest online shopping that they can not prove that they deserve money for no product

      My mother has been a loyal client of Linen Chest for many years. When I would visit ******, we would often go together, so I was excited to place an order for several items for our new home, thinking that the customer service would be exceptional.My goodness, how wrong I was.I will never purchase from Linen Chest again, Ill be advising my mother of my experience, and consider yourself advised, as well.When my order arrived yesterday, I pulled out one item and thought to myself, I really dont think this is what I ordered. I went back to review the order I had placed and, sure enough, the item delivered was not the one ordered.I immediately reached out to Linen Chest via email about the situation. Keep in mind that Linen Chest also has no customer service # to call, no one to speak to. Youre essentially at the mercy of a (painfully slow) email response, and people on the other end who clearly are not solutions-oriented and have no regard for customer service.Here was their response, in a nutshell: Oops. Our bad. Send it back to us [read: please waste your time], and once we have it back in our possession, well send you the correct item. But also your return window is limited, as per our return policy. Ha ha. Joke is on you, silly customer.This isnt customer care. Putting the onus on a customer to make things right isnt how you do business. Its not my responsibility to oversee that Linen Chest packages and delivers the correct items in an order. And its certainly not my responsibility to make things right.Shop here if you must, but I highly recommend taking your home furnishing needs elsewhere.Also, I hope this review costs Linen Chest a WHOLE LOT MORE than the measly $41+ tax it would have cost them to remedy their error (and, in turn, have a repeat customer).
