    I had a move in April 2021 with Kings van line / ***** *** **** Multiple issues during the process , paying for non-parking signs , Us getting a permit from the city for the move and them never placing the signs in time / Eventually placing metal signs without them having a proper permit which would not have been enforcable . having a first estimate of 4k , then 6k , then 7k since the vehicle they chose for transport couldn't get up to the house . Getting over 5k of Damages / lost items , Disrespectful movers who were accusing us of lying to them about the state of our items . The claims department refusing our claim for damage despite damage lining up with before-after move being different , them trying to get us to sign a form saying "you agree that all your items were received in a proper state " and when we refused to sign (to have more time to assess the damage to items they threw on the floor out of the van , breaking them ) We went to their claim and they said that by us refusing to sign, it was actually a proof that we weren't present when the items were dropped off . So either 1) Sign paper saying everything is fine or 2) dont sign and have no recourse towards any damage . When we were clearly there to tell them where to drop the items as well as to give them the upcharged money adjustment day-off payment . Trying to contact their claim department and them telling us they'll call us in a few days , trying to contact them back and no answer over and over ,then they close the claim without telling us , the person who deals with the claim leaves the company for a temp leave . All of this after 1+ year for no refund or return on damaged items despite paying for an added warranty on all our items . And calling and emailing them over and over without any answers
