We hired Ubiweb to host / design our new website as like us they are *** accredited and we thought that they would be great. From the initial outset we told the we only wanted to deal with people who spoke and communicated in English as neither me or my wife speak or understand French. Well this did not happen and it took over 10 months for them to finally put us under a account manager who did. Only after I made several complaints to them and told them we had had enough and we would not be renewing with them. From the first initial briefs starting the site, we told them numerous times do not use stock photos when building our new site. They kept doing it and we were so annoyed as it did not portray our work, what we do fully and made us look average. We are multi award winning and wanted to stand out! When it got to the point of where we had finally had enough was when, before they changed our account manager from the previous person who spoke French with such a strong accent and I recall telling her on the phone I could not understand a word she said. She called my wife ***** to offer a new add on which would cost more to assist with removing bad reviews from Google. We own any bad reviews, and any unjustified we reply to them as well! Well my tolerance for Ubiweb has come to and end and their defiance is outstanding! I wrote a 1 star Google review about the service we received and how we were treated by them and what I have said here, very justified. Well that review has vanished, yes they have used this new software or whatever it is to make the review disappear. This is totally wrong! How can other consumers or businesses make informed decisions when companies like this can remove or hide bad reviews? Like any business who will not pay or does not have the know how / capability to remove them, they should respond in a fair manner. I call this cheating and I hope this get recorded somewhere where they have no control over removing it!
