I purchased the hairdryer on December 31, 2023, and paid $80 plus tax for it. The business committed to providing me with a hairdryer that performed in the same manner as the previous hairdryer of the same brand. Both are ******** ********** hairdryers. The only difference is the smaller size of the Red hairdryer. The problem is the Red hairdryer does not perform the same as the Silver hairdryer. I've had the Silver hairdryer (purchased from Trade Secrets) for over 10 years and it leaves my hair smooth with little to no frizz. The Red hairdryer leaves my hair very frizzy. When I first received the hairdryer, the hard cable was bent in the box and the box looked like it had been opened before. I contacted the business to let them know and they told me it should be fine and not to worry as it is new in the box. I was skeptical but I took their word for it. When I found the hairdryer did not perform as well, I contacted the business again. They asked if I wanted a refund and I believed I needed a refund to purchase a different hairdryer. I returned it and then I received the email ******** in the documents. I have returned the hairdryer a second time, but I have not yet heard from the company. The Order number is *********. The issue with the popup policy (********) is that the defect is not mechanical, it is performance. The hairdryer does not perform the same way. I have requested evidence that it does but I have not heard anything from the company. Email correspondence dates were Jan 16/Response 16; 17/R18; 22/R25; 25/NR; 29/NR; online correspondence Jan 26/NR. Still no response to date. Copies of email correspondence available upon request.
