            On may 19/23 I spoke to a representative (******* *********) at PC insurance regarding adding/quoting a vehicle I had purchased. On may 23/23 I recieved a call back, I was told that I could get a liability slip but would not be given a price as my account was "locked" until the 28th due to upcoming payment. I was told I could opt for a call back after the 28th. I refused to proceed without a cost. On May 29 I called and again spoke to ******* who stated I would not receive a price at all and would have to agree to coverage and then wait a few days to see the cost. At that point I could call and cancel the coverage but would be charged for the coverage up until that time. Another agent stated she usually gives people estimates. Ultimately I do need insurance so I requested the liability slip so I can travel with my vehicle.

            I've had PC Insurance as brokerage for years. Last winter the ********** rate went way up so asked them to provide other company which was ********** and rate went back to previous level. I set up for automatic payments from bank account... when I viewed contract I discovered that there were savings for paying in total so I had them change. They took out first 2 months payment from my bank account as previously arranged but did not advise me that other arrangement was to be made to pay balance.... I am a snowbird and did not realize insurance had been canceled until I returned home to mail and went to post office for registered letter saying policy was canceled. Original broker involved did not return my call and one that did said due to nonpayment my record was now tainted and new company and rate almost tripled. Over 55 years I've never been canceled for any reason but due to their non communication of new payment method requirement my record is bad for 3 years..... this has cost me needless grief and several thousands.
