    I called my usual HVAC company as my hot water stopped working ...Their message indicated they have stopped their business and gave a number to the business which bought them . I called that number and talked to ****** from ****** Heating ..****** said she would send someone out ..They arrived .. spend ***** min diagnosing my hot water tank and said I needed a valve and they would order one ..They arrived back same afternoon and changed the valve .. took them about 1 hour ..The next day I got a bill for just over **** dollars and on the bill even stated that the hot water tank will soon need replacement due to poor condition ! ..I was not given an option to purchase a new tank instead of repairing ( for now ) that tank ..I was not told the extreme and crazy cost of the repair before the repair was performed I was not told the hot water unit itself needs replacing until after the " repair " was performed. I called within seconds of receiving the bill to complain and was told she would have the owner look into it on monday ...Today is thursday .. the owner called ( after I sent a reminder email )Owner at first said he wanted to make it right .....I simply asked what the cost of a new unit is instead of the repair that was done to my tank and he immediately said that he is not interested in pricing anything for me at all.I asked how he could get to three hours labour when actual time was at most 1:15 including diagnosis and on top of the labour charge also charge a service call .. He replied that he has office people to pay for and the service charge is automatic and labour starts right when they leave the shop and stops when they return .............He gave me two options .. as I had indicated that I could return the part they put into the water tank he said that I could A) Pay the bill .. or .. B ) take the part and return it and pay 145 plus tax .. but it had to be NO later than THIS afternoon (((( Impossible for me at this time as I am working ))))) - then he also stated that I am not qualified to remove the part as it is in a gas appliance and I am not licensed.I do not wish any contact with this company.I have not paid anything but would like this bill adjusted properly.
