    Contracted with Pudsey Pools to install an in ground pool in October of 2021 and paid an initial deposit on the understanding that construction would begin late spring or early summer of 2022 and functional for the summer season. In April of 2022 we selected the landscape and coping stone, paid for a survey of the property and paid the deposit for the city permit.
    By late June construction had not commenced and after inquiry were advised that we would be contacted a couple of weeks before dig date.
    By September, construction had still not started but we were assured that we would have a fully operational pool, now for the 2023 season.
    October 6 we I paid the next deposit, $17,933.10 which was due 2 weeks prior to dig date meaning construction should start on or close to the 24th of October. At the request of Zach P. and to expedite construction, our neighbour agreed to let the contractors remove a section of his fence on the understanding that it would be rebuilt along with a small patio section at my expense.
    On October 14, a further $13,250.38 representing ‘supplier increases’ and on November 3 $17,933.10 due when construction begins. Again, promises all along that the pool would be complete this year with the exception of the liner when h would be installed spring of 2023 prior to opening of the pool.
    On November 8th an additional 22,416.38 with pool construction ‘complete’ and the property ready for landscaping.
    On November 12, an additional $25,916.55 being the payment due when landscaping is complete plus a bill for extras which included the replacement of the fence sections and patio for my neighbour.
    In spite of repeated promises, the property remains in this rough incomplete stage and my neighbours work has not been completed.
    Pudsey Pools is holding all of the money for the project but is leaving only empty promises. I have asked specifically that they make my neighbour whole and a firm update as to when they will complete the promised work.

    We canceled our pool on August 31st 2022 with Pudsey Pools. The total amount that was give to them was $27, 245.43. Approximately $9000.00 of that cost was given as a deposit in October 2021. Roughly 18,000 was given in June. After multiple attempts to contact them as well as hiring a lawyer has elicited no response. This is incredibly stressful and unacceptable for a company to keep money for no services being provided. I am willing to pay any cancellations fees however this is ridiculous.

    We dealt with this company last year to have a pool. We gave deposit of $17000. There was no design to anything from them when asked multiple times. ( I am a designer and gave them an ******* design of what we would like… they used this as there design for permits even though I said… I am not a pool designer please don’t use these. We have had no dialog fro them since June 21( documented) found out in October they actually got permits june 22nd. We cut our ties as we no longer had any faith due to complete lack of any communication with pudsey pools. They are keeping our deposit with giving us zero zero zero work. I am at the point where I want to charge them for designer fees???
