    I had a tech come to our home to do maintenance service. I asked to check all our equipment. The technician was about to leave after about 1 hour and I brought up a concern I had with HRV. The tech checked it and confirmed my suspicion the intake was reversed which meant it was not working properly. Yet the tech did not notice something that obvious and told me I could fix it just have go to ********* for the parts. I paid really good money for this service only to have the tech not notice the problem and on top of that told me I could repair it myself. That's not good or ********* service.

    Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your recent service visit.
    Our technician was scheduled to complete a routine maintenance on your HVAC equipment. It was carried out as requested and thoroughly documented. During the visit you raised a concern about your HRV system. The technician confirmed the issue and explained how it could be resolved, including a straightforward DIY solution using readily available materials.
    As a service provider, we walk a fine line between empowering homeowners with professional, cost-saving advice, and performing every minor adjustment ourselves knowing it is adding to your household expenses. A cost estimate to complete the duct corrections should have been sent as a follow up to the "how to" advice. We apologize that didn't happen. Not everyone is a DIY-er, and that's okay.
    That said, we are NOT OKAY with the manner in which you chose to bring your concerns to our team. Both our receptionist and service coordinator were subjected to ********** *** ******** ******* language during your follow-up communications. While we are always open to resolving customer concerns, we have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior toward our staff.
    With that in mind, we have closed your customer file, and wish you the best in finding a service firm that is a better fit for your expectations.
