            Called SWAT Wildlife late afternoon of March 2nd. Explained that I had a squirrel in the house that was coming down the chimney. Also explained that the damper was damaged and that was allowing squirrel to enter home. **** (person who answered and employee of SWAT) explained that ******* would arrive at my home between the hours of 2-4 on March 3rd to put in an exit-only door for the squirrel and then cap it after a few days (to allow squirrel to exit premises). Was also informed that: 1. ******* would call to advise of actions. 2. I would not be charged until I spoke with ******* about final cost. 3. There would be no need to enter the home as all work would be done on the exterior. ******* did inspect the fireplace and noted afterwards to my sister that he did see a squirrel. My sister was home and ******* asked if he could enter. He inspected the fireplace and noted the damaged damper. The squirrel did, in fact, enter my home via the chimney and the patio door was opened to let the squirrel out. What ******* did not tell my sister, who witnessed the actions of ******** was that he thought there may be another squirrel in the chimney. He left and I was charged $474 immediately, without confirmation or the courtesy of a phone call (that was described by ****). The second squirrel did enter the premise. There was no blocking the fireplace area and, as a result, the squirrel caused damage in excess of $500. This includes damaging the blinds of my home, breaking china and knocking over items in my kitchen. The squirrel also knocked over prescription medication that had to be replaced. Upon speaking with **** that evening and explaining the circumstances, she then informed me that ******* had, in fact told my sister that there most likely was a second squirrel. My sister, who was present during the call on speaker phone, vehemently and honorably denied this as she knew this was not true. **** then stated she would get back to me and talk about next steps. This has not happened and I don't feel that I should have to be the one to contact the company for an explanation or a modification of billing.
