  I contacted this service as I wanted a more discreet/private way of dating as opposed to online apps. I also figured that these people are professionals in their fields and that they had honed in on their skills. This was FAR from the actual reality.
  When I first called them, they assured me that they have an extensive portfolio of potential matches and to be sure that I'm in good hands with them. They also mentioned that they utilize a portfolio of another match making service as they partner together sometimes. Laila the owner was very friendly and caring on our zoom chat. They asked me to fill out a questionnaire to get an idea of what I was looking for in a woman. After they received those details from me, they said no problem and that they already have a few women in mind to match me with. I signed up with them and forked over $6,000!!! Do I ever regret that decision now...
  I was only provided with TWO (very low quality) matches per month for 6 months. Awful! The dates and matches were so bad that I went from 'dating' mentality to 'investigative'. I asked the women if they had also signed up for the service and all but one of them said they didn't. Select Matchmaking would find them on ******** and ask them if they'd like to go for a nice dinner for an hour or two. This was usually done very last minute (mostly 1-2 days before the date) which means that they have NO portfolio.
  I ended up bringing up my dissatisfaction with Laila the owner and she became extremely defensive. She did not hear me out at all or put my mind to ease. She said the time she wasted replying to my email could have gone into spending time on finding a good match. They weren't spending more than a few minutes a day. Chanell was also always defensive.

  We take all reviews seriously, as they help us improve and provide the best experience for our clients. However, we feel it’s important to address some inaccuracies and provide clarity regarding *** ****** experience with us.
  At Select Matchmaking, we pride ourselves on being intentional and selective in our process. All matches presented to him were based on the detailed parameters discussed during the initial interview. We always provided clear and thorough details about potential matches before any introduction, ensuring he was fully informed and comfortable and eager moving forward. We would never contact "just anyone" for a date; every match was thoughtfully curated to align with ***** preferences and values.
  Additionally, as part of our commitment to finding the best possible matches for our clients, we occasionally collaborate with trusted matchmakers and networks. This approach broadens the pool of quality candidates while maintaining our high standards and focus on compatibility.
  We understand that chemistry and connection are highly personal and not always within our control. While some matches *** was interested in didn’t feel the same way, this is an inherent part of the matchmaking process. We are here to provide guidance and support throughout this journey, but success also depends on openness and alignment on both sides.
  It’s worth noting that our process is based on quality, not quantity—a point we discussed with him early on. Despite this, we received frequent follow-ups from him requesting matches within very short timeframes, which isn’t conducive to our thoughtful approach. We also want to note that as the process progressed his preferences became increasingly and unrealistically detailed, including face shapes and specific body types which were not initially communicated at the time of joining our service. While we strive to accommodate our clients' preferences, this level of specificity can present challenges especially when these criteria evolve beyond the original scope of our discussions.
  Lastly, there were several inconsistencies in his preferences that we managed with care, including his stance on careers. While *** initially expressed interest in highly professional women and then when we presented matches such as doctors and dentists, he later stated that he was not looking for matches with such serious careers. This shift created challenges, but we worked diligently to adjust and accommodate his evolving preferences wherever reasonable.

  This is highly inaccurate. 1) not one of my matches was I interested in. Claiming that I was and they weren't is incredibly false 2) they provided 1-2 matches per month which for the $6,000 price paid is a very low number. The quality of the matches were very poor 3) my matches told me on our dates that they were RANDOMLY contacted by this service via their ******** profiles and that they in no way signed up to be in the services database. They also said that they were contacted last minute. Why would they *** about this?? This service did not utilize their own "portfolio" or of other companies portfolios that they're affiliated with.
