1 star****** ** PC Mastercard. Keep your receipts because reimbursements sometimes don't go through. If you have no receipt they keep your money. If you have a receipt, they still argue with you then they give your credit without an apology or explanation.President's Choice Financial Mastercard

1 starPCMC representatives from dispute department do not care of their loyal customers who paid their bills in time for over 2 decades of years, when a dispute is being requested against ***** business where the PCMC card was used.
Although I provided proof of illicit activity the 2 business from Malaga, Spain (******* *** ******* *** ******* *** ****) conduct against hundreds of others peoples, PCMC closed a blind eye, giving the right to the ******* *** **** institution who overcharged me with 140 Euro (245.54 CAD).
This 140 Euro (245.54 CAD) amount was not communicated to me by ******* *** ******* during the car booking for additional owing amounts. If I would knew about it, I would not agree to proceed further with the car rental.
After filing a dispute with PCMC against this *******, and **** decided to provide me the credit for the overcharged overbilled amount done by this ******* *** , a PCMC dispute department representative reversed the payment without notifying me. Moreover, a PCMC call got disconnected before I had the chance to get to it. Although I was supposed to receive a call back, this did not happen. I had called them several times back and spend dozens of hours waiting on the line to be connected to explain my situation and ******** * **** **** ******** ** ******* **** ****** **** ** **** ******** *** **** fraudulent treatment from these 2 Malaga businesses.
PCMC stood to their decision. All I could do is to stop using the card. But this is not the best solution for me.President's Choice Financial Mastercard

1 starGot a card and made a purchase of gas to ensure it was activated. Once confirmed the card was active I went about my day and made a larger purchase. Later tried to purchase lunch for the family and card was declined. I called and was told that their "System" locked my card because of a large purchase. That's fine, i can understand that. I was told it would be 2-3 days to be resolved. I called back 2 days later to follow up and was told that no, im waiting for fraud to review and request documents from me to prove that it's me? That could take another couple days. Fine. I called back 2 days later and the third representative told me what i needed to provide and to call back in half an hour if I wanted it unlocked faster. I called back as instructed and the fourth representative told me my stuff was reveived, they would let Fraud know it was all accepted and I made the purchase but it would take another 3-5 business days for this to be done. Obviously I was quite frustrated as a 2-3 day fix turned into 2 weeks. Still nothing has been done on my account and when I try calling back I get disconnected. **** ******* ** * ******* *** *** * **** ***** They will lock it if a purchase is over $200. The only way for it to not be locked is to call in and let them know you're spending your money. Excuse me? I'm not a toddler and it's not right that this is required. They need to stop relying on AI technology to do their job. Any other bank sees a purchase and calls to confirm, they don't just lock the card. Heaven forbid i actually needed that card for something important. I will NEVER work with them again. **** ******* ** * ****President's Choice Financial Mastercard

1 starReview of PC Financial Balance Transfers * ******** ****** ******* ***** ** ********* *** ******* ********** They handle transfers like cash advances, which means you're hit with a one-time fee ranging from 1-5% on the transferred amount. On top of that, they charge an annual interest rate of 20-23%, and if you don’t pay off the balance quickly, you face an additional 22.99% interest. This information is vague in their disclosures, making it easy to overlook.

1 starI have been pass on to *** ******l 6 customer service rep back and forth with Customer service keep on transferring me or sending or asking me to call account receivable for 7 times. I am on the line for 2 hours and no one could help me. I spoke with THE MANAGER one of the A/R dept. and he said I should talk to the customer service again and he forward me to the automated system again. How many times do they have to forward or transfer me back and forth and no one could talk to me. This is ridiculous. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.President's Choice Financial Mastercard

1 starPC financial lowered my limit arbitrarily with no warning by almost $4000.
Message from PC: We make every effort to ensure that your PC® Mastercard® meets your needs. Due to your recent account history, we have decided that a lower credit limit would better suit your requirements at this time. Your credit limit has been lowered, effective immediately.
This left me with less than $1000 in credit and made a hit on my credit utilization on my credit report.
I have had the account for exactly one year, paid more than the minimum payment every month and paid the entire balance off in February. My credit utilization on this account went from less than 40% to 90% in one instant, making my credit worse. There was no real reason other than my credit score changed and their AI determined I was a "risk". Funny story PC financial, my credit score was lower when you gave me the card! Being perfect with my payments is my account history!!
After waiting a gazillion hours on the phone, I was told "there's nothing we can do, call back in six months and check your credit score"
Thanks PC financial.President's Choice Financial Mastercard

Was contacted by PC financial. Criticized for my personal financial position over the phone. Did receive a goodwill gesture to help matters but was told their algorithm could reduce my limit again at any time. Still will cancel any and all transactions with PC financial in the future given that statement.Review fromTrina B

1 starI recently obtained a supplemental PC World Elite card for my daughter. Both my card and hers were blocked within her first day of travel abroad. They did not alert us.We both called and verified our identity and purchases. They said they could not remove the block until Head Office reviews it in 2-3 business days. They would not explain why it required further review. This means my daughter would not have a way to pay for food and expenses for the entirety of her trip.I said it was urgent it be resolved asap. They said they would mark it urgent and someone would call me that evening.Nobody called.I called back the following day.Was told the same thing - that she would escalate it and someone would call me back asap.I asked her to define asap because I had already been told that the day before. She replied “very soon; within a few hours up to 24 hours”.They were already 20 hours late with my call and now it could take another 24 hours?Supervisor acknowledged they knew my daughter was in a foreign country and that blocking her card could put her wellbeing and safety at risk.Yet no change to plan - - card remained blocked and who knows when I will get a call to resolve. I find it curious that they keep telling me our cards were blocked when my app says “your new card is on its way”…. My guess - they cancelled our cards instead of blocking them. They know this and yet are leading me to believe the cards are just blocked and that I will receive a call to resolve and help my daughter. They know this not be true but are just “managing” me with **** to help cover the delays until I receive a call several days from now or new cards in the mail or something. ****** ************* **** ** ************* ********* **** **** **** **** **** *** ************ ** *** **** ** ****** *** ********* ** * ******* **** ** * ******* ******** ********** *** ************Review fromJolene B.

1 starOn Dec. 11, 2023, I rec'd an email for a $997 charge on my PC Mastercard. As soon as I saw it, I called PC to report it as unauthorized/fraudulent; it was within 2 hrs of when the charge was made. I'd never heard of the organization who made the charge, interacted with them, nor spoken to anyone on the phone, and most certainly didn't share my card/pin/password with anyone. After asking me questions to ensure I wasn't responsible for the charge, PC cancelled my card, sent me a new one and told me an investigation would be done. I followed up twice in December, being told to monitor my transactions; if the charge was removed, I might not hear from them but could take that to mean the investigation was completed in my favor. I checked my transactions daily, feeling relief sometime mid-January when the charge was finally removed! I continued on with life believing they'd found the charge to be truly fraudulent. Well, on March 8th I rec'd a letter in the mail from PC dated March 1st. It advised I was responsible for the charge as they found me, or someone known to me to have made the transaction OR that I hadn't cooperated with the investigation. They closed the investigation and would be applying the charge back to my card. Note: no one from PC had attempted to contact me all that time. I read through the documentation which included a copy of the organization's online payment info from me for the charge. I saw the IP address of the device that initiated the payment was in another province entirely. I called PC and expressed my frustration that this obviously was not thoroughly investigated. Also, PC has Zero Liability in place; if I satisfied the requirements of protecting my card reasonably & reporting the unauthorized charge immediately, the most I can be at fault for is $50. The investigation has been reopened, but it's been a week and no one has given me an update. * **** ******* ***** I wait again, now over 3 mths later with a $997 charge I currently must pay.Review fromJustin M

1 starIt appears PC financial doesn't believe in giving people second chances and holds their mistakes against them forever. I charged a PC MasterCard off in a chapter 7 personal bankruptcy in 2012 along with several other debts and have worked hard rebuilding by credit which is now if the fair range and I've been able to get credit cards with other companies who have been happy to give me a second chance, I mean we all deserve one right? But PC financial is holding my charged off card against me and has told me I'm ineligible for ever getting another credit card with them again. That's really nice PC financial! I guess if you run into tough times and have fall in life you become unworthy of redemption in their eyes. So sad.President's Choice Financial Mastercard
