      Couple of month ago I was trying to withdraw some cash in Scotiabank's ATM in the downtown of Montreal. It happened to me 1st time, it was a snow storm, I spend 30 mins walking from one Scotia ATM to another, but all formerly known 24/7 ATM locations were closed and card access to them was blocked. Tonight I was trying to get some cash in after work hours and walked to another 2 Scotia locations where ATMs were working 24/7. Unfortunately all of them have been closed at 4pm and 5pm! it means Scotia bank cancelled 24/7 access to their ATM in Montreal at all. Since I have to use only Scotia ATM to withdraw cash without any fees, I am not able to get money in after working hours in Montreal! It is incredible!

      Choosing scotia bank was a biggest mistake, The customer service is not helpful at all not responsive. The branch keep chasing me away. Customer service ended the call while i was addressing my issue.

      * ** ********* ** *** *** *** ********** ******* Until April 4,2024 when they Scotiabank froze my business account I had thought Scotia was a great bank. Now not so much. April 30,2024 still frozen for no reason, no notification what so ever, emails to 4 different branch managers go unanswered. Traced to ScotiaBank, ***** **** MTL. They don't know who or why as no notes were applied.       ********** *** ****** *** ********* … the customer service I have received lately is absolutely pathetic. Managers can’t do **** right and then they expect these poor customer service reps to have all the answers when their higher ups don’t have a clue themselves! **** * **** ** * ***** Unlimited transactions on your account?       I've been very disappointed with scotiaonline.scotiabank.com and it's policies you've absolutely discriminated against me before and now have put a hold or suspended my account om really thinking about filing a suit against you for this and im telling you to open my account now or you will be hearing from my lawyer I'm not playing with you anymore ****** ****** ** ******** * *** *** and now your playing with me again

      There is one staff (named Shreya) *** ********** ************** *** ******* In the last one month, I booked quite a few appointments through their call center, she was the one assigned to me for 4 of my appointments. She cancelled 2 of them without asking me, which delayed my banking!! Another two appointments, I waited for long time, she didn't show at all! I called the call center to complain about this, one staff was very nice, she noted my complaint and said she will notify the manager in that location. However, almost two weeks passed, nobody contacts me. That means the manager doesn't care about my concern!!!!

      BOTH the Manager and Assist Manager at my branch!

      Could you imagine being denied service because of how you look ? Dress? In 2023 if that ?

      Fortunately I found another bank that appreciates there customers and gave me the service I was in need of.

      My family has been with Scotiabank for over 60 years and they have been excellent in handling our finances. Sean at the **** ****** ****** ***** location in Calgary is knowledgable and kind. Connor E our advisor is personable and smart. Sherry D at the ********** location is extremely capable, intelligent, on top of things, and she really cares.

      They don’t care for the average person. Ran into a bit of financial hardship and missed a **** payment. Now they are throwing their policy at me and are holding all my cheques for 5 business days. I have a car payment coming out in one day and they wouldn’t even clear enough to cover that from my regular paycheque from the same company for 7 years. I now have to beg my family or use their solution to take my cheque to a cheque cashing place which I would lose a percentage of my cheque after already losing money having to leave work early as they close when my shift ends just to make sure my payment doesn’t bounce. I don’t even have money to go grocery shopping for my kids and it’s so close to Christmas. I was so upset and stressed with everything that I had a break down in their parking lot **** ****** ** ** ***. I have never felt so small and worthless.
