We filed an insurance claim with ********** who insurance partner is SquareTrade By Allstate Insurance of Canada over a month ago. We have been dismissed, promised and booked false booking of service in the last month. I reached out personally to head of office including CEO, VP, chief of finance, coordinator of customer service, and founder, hoping to get some satisfaction from their company and rectifying their entry-level service. We manage to be contacted by middle management and again was booked a false promise. We were left with nothing and we had to fix what was broken on our own.

Allstate Insurance cancelled our car insurance July 21, 2023 without our knowledge when it was paid in full. When we finally found out when calling them a few weeks before it was supposed to be expired they told us it was due to us moving to *******. We never moved to ON. We moved from ******** to ****** and we specifically called them to tell them the exact new address ahead of time. I even have emails with them advising of this and the next day they cancelled our car insurance. We only stayed at our families house in ON for ***** days until our closing date of new house which is what we told Allstate as well. They asked us for a ON address where to send the car renewals documents incase it is sent before the new house not that they were changing the address for insurance purposes to ON. They have not resolved anything with us and now we find out they sent our file to collects for $62.60 for the house insurance. We escalated emails to their support email last year and they advised me dont worry about this I will take care of it. I drove around with cancelled car insurance and they are not taking any fault for it and now demanding $62.60. I have not gotten a straight answer or resolution from anyone at Allstate. We just want that $62.60 to be gone as all this mess is their fault.

Allstate renewal policy is if customers do not respond to them within 30 days of receiving the renewal documents in the mail Allstate will renew the contract. Prior to renewal I signed up for online authorization with Allstate to have all my documents sent via the online App including the renewal documents. Prior to my renewal the Allstate deactivated my online account and locked me out. Allstate did NOT mail out any renewal documents nor did they seek my consent to renew or cancel my contract. Instead, Allstate increased my premiums by $60.00 without my consent or knowledge or any advance notice to me and began charging my credit card the higher premium illegally prior to the renewal and for months thereafter. When I reached out to Allstate they simply said you didnt cancel your policy within the 30days and therefore the new rate applies In response to why my premiums are significantly higher they said inflation and due to the high number of claims in 2023 we are passing the costs on to our customers I am a A+ driver according to the insurance company yet I am paying over $200+/per month for insurance with Allstate Allstate breached its own policy by not sending renewal documents to its customers in accordance with the laws. When the customers do not cancel within the ***************************************************************************** premiums and to renew the contract.Allstate is doing fraud and fraudulently charged my credit card over $1,000.00
