    We bought a custom made canoe from Parks Composites Skogafoss Canoes in May 2022 and finally picked it up on July 1, 2022. The canoe was very poorly constructed because after only one canoe trip, the hull sustained damage and the front of the inside of the canoe was falling apart. The owner, Adam P., would not agree to a refund even though no refund policy was detailed at the time of purchase. We dropped off the canoe to his studio in October 2022 for repair and he never contacted us to confirm the repairs were done. In the last 3 months, I have tried many times to reach out to Adam by email, text and phone call and there is no response on the status of the canoe as of May 8, 2023. If he is not able to give back our repaired canoe, it is only right that he provide a full refund - *** ******* ** ********. I would caution anyone thinking of doing business with Parks Composites Skogafoss Canoes. It is not a reputable business and there is no customer service. They spend more time and energy to argue with customers or evade their calls. I completely regret spending money with this person.

    We have had this canoe repaired for some time. After receiving the canoe it was put on our rack for assessment. Our Customer claimed the canoe was falling apart after only one use. After our team looked at it there was some chipping of the Gelcoat on the bottom center of a v-haul canoe from hard impacts. This canoe was very used and possibly even misused for a brand new canoe costing $3800 that was sold at discount. When our customer originally picked this canoe up for her husband/ partner as a gift, her partner was not satisfied that she had spent the money on this canoe because he already had one. This left me and one of my team members a little discouraged on their purchase. The interior flotation tank panel was pushed in, there were signs of mud on the face of it. Non less we warrant these repairs at no cost, we have no signs of manufacturing defects on our end. Our Company uses only top grade materials and processes, we invite all to our facility.
