      On October 13, 2023 I entered my storage unit at Plains Rd., Burlington, and noticed that there was a large amount of mouse excrement and urine throughout the first couple feet of my large full storage unit. Several items are ruined boxes chewed through mattresses, soiled, etc. I spoke with the regional manager who showed concern and stated that the matter would be addressed immediately. I advised the unit would need to be emptied to determine the amount of damage, as well as to eradicate the vermin. As requested that same day, I sent several photos of damage and excrement. I sent several emails including on the 13th and the 15th and the 26 in addition to the two emails sent including photos. My most recent email on the 26 advised that I had not heard anything and that I would be taking further steps to seek remedy. As far as resolution and remedy, I need my unit to be completely emptied, so that I can determine the amount of damage, and whether or not the contents need to be transferred out of this unit. I do not expect that they should be done at my time or cost. And I expect some remedy in terms of refund of storage fees. Money paid below is per month

      This storage company has changed names to Access Storage . I was a long-term customer there until a snow plough pushed in my unit door on a Friday night. I showed up on a Saturday morning and my door was open. I contacted the lady in the office to call somebody to come and repair the door, this was on a Saturday by the end of the day nobody came to fix the door. I had to call somebody and pay them to secure my door. I submitted a bill to the company Access Storage now. It’s been over 90 days and they will not pay the bill , they said they were going to, and now they will not respond to me. I have corresponding emails stating they were going to cover the bill.
      Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

      On march the 29th entered the storage unit to remove items and found mattresses, boxes and other items in the unit infested with rats and mice. As well as a lot on rodent droppings. The storage unit, requested more documentation to with receipts of items lost. That was provided in an email. I have paid over 2000$ to keep things in storage, as well as paying an extra for April, to figure out what can be salvaged. On April the 7th I travelled back to Ontario to get more documentation and further access the damage. Which I provided access storage with receipts. Today may the 11th I was told that Access storage will not be refunding me or covering the cost of damage items. They stated that they could get someone to clean and sanitize all items, which does not help items that are beyond repair, and should NOT be kept due to disease that rodents carry.

      I opened a storage locker back in June 11 2022 and had paid over the phone for the storage. When I went in person I was charged for the same amount again and was told that the original charge will be used for the next bill. When I got the subsequent bill in September I was charged again and so I decided **** * *** ** ****** ***** **** ******** and cancelled.

      Up to this day I have been constantly calling the storage location **** ******** ******* ***** and have been told that they are processing my refund. Because it has taken multiple months now and have not gotten a refund I would like to initiate a formal complaint against this location.
