      Mould contamination in delivered storage container and lack of resolution.
      On May 23, 2025, Portable Storage British Columbia delivered a storage container to our home that turned out to be contaminated with mould. We first raised this issue on August 2, 2025, via email from both myself and my wife, REMOVED, and followed up on August 16th and September 9th. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, the company has failed to provide a formal response or compensation. Instead, we have received requests for updated payment details, which is unacceptable given the unresolved health and property risks. The contaminated container exposed our belongings for weeks until mould testing confirmed the issue, posing a significant health risk to our family and jeopardizing the integrity of our future home construction in our items were to be introduced. We provided photographic and video evidence, along with inspection reports from professional remediation experts. We have not used the container since removing our items due to contamination upon discovery. We requested a full accounting of all payments processed since August 2, 2025, reimbursement of any fees charged from that date forward, and compensation for professional remediation of the container and non-porous contents, as well as replacement costs for porous items that could not be safely cleaned. We expected a prompt and professional reply or resolution to the matter. This situation has caused undue stress, financial burden, and disruption to our household, and we believe good business practice requires immediate resolution. I would NEVER recommend this company for use.

      When booking cube, was not told entire costs. They didn’t even schedule a pick up when it was booked two months ahead with cube at my property . The billing REMOVED They try taking payments out whenever they feel like it ! You cannot change the payment date. I get paid end of the month which is also when cube was picked up. But they try to take payments off my credit card up to 10 days before the end of the month. REMOVED I do not and would not recommend this company ! REMOVED With 3 month without payment they sell off your stuff! * REMOVED

      REMOVED. They charged my credit card before delivery (after explicitly stating they won’t) and then sent me a confirmation email that wasn’t what I agreed to. I cancelled their service before delivery and still haven’t received a refund.
      Four days later, mysterious charges started popping up on my credit card, it’s a new card and they are the first people to get the number. REMOVED. Now I need to deal with the hassle of cancelling cards and getting refunds. Not happy about this.

      My experience has been highly frustrating due to several recurring issues REMOVED Firstly, there is a constant issue with charges being incorrectly applied, specifically with regard to delivery fees. Despite my storage unit being on-site, I have been charged as though it requires delivery. Furthermore, it appears that Cubeit does not actually manage a dedicated storage yard, but rather rents space from REMOVEDStorage. This arrangement has limited my access to my unit, preventing me from accessing my belongings at my convenience, which is incredibly frustrating.
      Additionally, the quotes provided to me have been inconsistent and frequently change. I am constantly bombarded with emails providing differing quotes, making it impossible to budget accordingly. On top of this, invoices are frequently incorrect, and even when paid in full, a balance is often carried forward, accumulating unnecessary weekly interest. REMOVEDRepresentatives do not answer calls or respond to emails unless they are pursuing payment. When I have managed to speak to someone, I have faced REMOVEDtreatment, including instances where I was hung up on and told to “speak to another representative” if my pronouns mattered to me. The continued misgendering and dismissive attitude, including repeated, unwanted references as “ma’am,” have only added to the frustration.
      The combination of incorrect billing, unresponsive service, and REMOVEDbehavior has left me extremely disappointed. I would appreciate a swift resolution to the ongoing billing errors, an assurance that I will not be charged unjustified fees, and a commitment to treating customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve.

      Excellent phone service but they sold my info to moving companies and I received multiple ads in the mail. A deal and trust breaker.

      REMOVEDI paid almost $300 for 4 weeks of rent upfront & to have the pod delivered than I paid on Oct 5 /2023, $199 do have it picked up and stored in their storage yard, than I had paid another $209 for a month of rent it's now November 28th/2023 and I received and email saying my locks will be cut and they don't accept partial payment? And I owe $730 bucks like whoa... All the payments have gone through! I have bank statements! And emails stating from their company that payment was received.... Now I'm being told I owe and I'm not allowed to access my stuff? REMOVED

      Oh but there is an update regarding the storage container so obviously I paid what they said I owed because I was not about to loose everything I owned and continued to pay and on oct 7th/8th 2024 I had it delivered to my apartment after paying close to I believe $2500 yo see that my lock had been cut and replaced so i had to cut their lock off and when I opened it there was broken stuff things missing and I actually have pictures showing forklift forks had went through the side of the container and they had some sort of material taped to close the holes and I had called to complain and I was told I was not covered with insurance but I infact was covered and have all my receipts showing I paid for insurance! And when I had got them to pick up the storage unit they charged me more money even though I had paid but than the guy came to get it and had REMOVEDa vice that I have on video than he left the unit I had to call than he returned took the storage pod and I received a notice stating I owe like $1000 bucks or close to it? It's insane what about my missing stuff and my broken stuff I had family urns that had been broken my family members ashes were on the floor from the forks of the forklift going through the side along with my mattress had been punctured my 80 inch television was also punctured I had jewelry that was missing
