      Everything went very well with my install. Very professional and helpful in every aspect from sales to completion. I highly recommend them for installing their solar panel system. Mine is not on line and generating electricity yet. There was a mix up with the electrician (not from Polaron) and my electric company. It has been corrected and I'm waiting for the electric company to install my Net Meter. Thank You Polaron for a great experience. ????

      system has not been working right since October can't get any help no matter how I try. One day it shows generation next day nothing. I have been passed around to countless people who forget about e as soon as they hang up the phone .
      Most definitely would not recommend these guys, I went with them as they were considerably lower cost than local guy. my mistake

      Poor customer service throughout the process
      Took forever to respond to emails and phone calls
      Installers made a mess in my home during the install
      Installation took more than 16 months start to finish
      Once project was complete I still haven’t been connected to the power grid, thus I am paying 20$k for a service that doesn’t even work!

      Polaron did eventually install the solar system, but the project as a whole was poorly managed, poorly communicated and stressful as a result.
      They do not provide a dedicated contact/project manager, so you'll end up dealing with countless different contacts. Getting our system accurately quoted was a battle, as a random polaron person who had no idea about what you'd agreed to with someone else would put together some slightly off proposal for me to sign. Phone tag, emails would ensue.
      Post installation support is unfortunately proving to be just as poor. I've been trying for two weeks to work with them to get the EMA device online. (It reports on the output of your solar, fills in cloud dashboard and accessible from app) They've just scheduled a call with me to resolve the EMA issue, so we'll see how that goes.

      Customer service is horrible. Most of the team does not speak ****** English which is concerning when learning about this new endeavor.
      The install team showed up unannounced and then wanted to start on the wrong side of the roof.
      I got the panel up now and it seems to work, but I am not looking forward to any future issues.

      I have been a customer of Polaron for about 4 years now. Getting the solar panels installed was difficult due to COVID but it was relatively painless and the first year, was pretty good because everything was working fine. I thought this was great!
      However, service and maintenance is probably the most important part of having a long term contract with a company like this. Polaron does not seem to monitor the functioning of your system to catch outages when they happen. The past two years, I have had two failures in the solar panels that took out 50% or more of my panels. These were out for months and the only way that I found out was that my power bill jumped back up. Then it took several weeks before I could get them to fix it (and only after I was forced into hounding them) and in the end, I lost all of the sunny months of the year. As far as I know, all of the solar panel data is online for them to see. * **** ** ******** ************. It shouldn't be a difficult report to make and would add a lot to keeping customers happy. It just seems the focus is installation and not maintenance.
      Honestly, if I knew before I purchased these panels how ******** their Nova Scotia branch would be, I would never have bought those panels from Polaron. Now, I'm stuck with dead weights sitting on my roof for 4 months of the year and when I mentioned that I should have them removed, the "support" person on the other end of the phone line ********** said that I had to then pay them the full amount of the contract. So, they win either way.
      Maybe support is better in other provinces, but, for me, almost every time I have had to deal with them, it's a three ring circus. I'm the one who has to identify when the system is failing. I'm the one that has to hound them to get support. * **** ******* **** I have to pay every month for a malfunctioning product and an equally bad service with no means of recourse. *** ***** ******** * ***** **** ****** *** **** ** ******* ****

      Everything was great, until it wasn't. I liked the Polaron proposal for a 20 solar panel system. I was asked for a $682.50 deposit to start a site assessment report. I was told by my salesperson, Zak Hannat, that if I did not agree with the results of the site assessment report, that I would get a full refund. ***** *** ** *****  I didn't like the way the heavy black wiring and connection boxes were going to deface the side of my building. Polaron management didn't seem to care that I was **** to by their salesperson and blamed me for not reading the fine print in the sales agreement. They were right ! ***** *** * ******* * ***** *********  ***** **** *** **** ******* * **** **** ***** ***** **** ********  I'm still waiting for my refund !

      Initially I had a good rapport with Polaron, but that has gone sideways after I asked for specific information how the installation would interplay with my ******* power backup system. The installation needs to be done in a very specific manner so as not to damage the ******* generator when there is a power outage. If they can re-assure me how they will do the install I will move forward with them. If you have a home generator do your research before moving forward.

      Had system installed in Late July, In service in August. Last couple months it had cut what my payment was from the electric bill. I am sure it will not be that great this winter. Lets see what next year brings. As for the install, it is a process that takes time from the house inspection, to permits to install and hook up. Over all we were happen with the results so far. Time will tell if it was worth the cost. Over all it was a good experience.. as I am hard to please and very particular in the way things are done around my house lol... they were very professional.
