    We were sold the Diamond Kote when we purchased our car and the warranty includes "Premium coverage, paint protection, CPU rust, module and Surface Perforation" yet when we submitted a claim for some rust spots, we were told the warranty only covers rust holes. We paid close to $2,000 for the warranty yet can only use it if holes formed by rust which is not likely to happen with 2020 vehicle for quite some time. **** ** ** ************** *** ** ******** *** ** ********** * ***** ******** ****** ****** ** *** ******** ******* **** ********* *** * ***** ** ******

    I was convinced by the dealership staff to purchase Diamond Kote. I was very hesitant but eventually agreed. Once I found rust on my car, I initiated the claim process through the dealership. I was asked for pictures and a quote to repair two rust spots. My claim was denied based on the small print of the Diamond Kote agreement. ** *** *** ** *** *********** ********** ******* ***** ****** It is a rust protection plan that does not protect your car from rust or repair rust damage.
    My efforts to involve the manager from the dealership has been met with silence, no response. I suspect they unwilling to assist me with my frustrations because Diamond Kote ** * ****.

    ** *** ******** ***** *********** ********** ** ******** ****** ***** *********** **** ** ******* I purchased both exterior protection and interior leather protection. The salesman at *** told me it was a comprehensive package but it was nothing close to that. The majority of what they deem damage can be cleaned by an auto detailer for far less than the cost of this warranty. Leather coverage does not even include surface scratches but yet it includes spilled pop which I can easily clean up myself. For exterior, if there is any rust, they will blame you for not repairing a stone chip and then exclude the claim. The customer does not stand a chance since the onus is on you to show that it wasn't a stone chip. By the time the rust appears around a wheel well for example, I would have had to pay for regular inspections to prove my claim. The other components of coverage are already included in the majority of auto insurance so Diamond Kote is nothing short of a money grab and duplication of better quality insurance you may already be purchasing for far less.

    Not recommended, we paid 5 years of warranty with diamond kote when purchasing our ***** **** sofa and we submitted 2 requests in the past year which were denied by mario, most of daily stains, damages, any sort turns out to be not under our “extended warranty”
    Dont waste your money, they’ll keep finding reasons in their contract to not cover you.

    I bought the Diamond Kote premium warranty on my 2017 **** ******* in January 2023. I bought the car and warranty through ****** ****** ******** dealership. After 8 month, I had it in for its first service since buying the car. Upon inspection during the service the mechanic notice a hole in the rocker panel. I called Diamond Kote to file a complaint, but after two weeks, nobody from Diamond Kote has gotten in touch with me about what they will do about the hole. I’ve called a number of times and get a different response each time, and am always told someone will get in touch within a couple of days, however nobody has contacted me and this has been going on since Sept 1st.

    I did finally get in touch with someone from Diamond Kote and their response to me was they don’t cover the underside of the cars and my warranty that I paid for was no good

    The absolute worst customer service, no communication and won’t even give answers over phone or email for warranty claims. Just keeps repeating policies that are irrelevant to the claim and request

    I purchased Diamond Kote for $600.00 from **** ******'s ****** **** **** *******,
    **** ******** Road Guelph ON ******. It came with a Premium Rust Protection Limited Life.
    Premium Sound Shield Limited Life
    DK Combo-Surface Perforation-10 year & Image Guard/OEM- 5 years
    So at the fifth year of owning my vehicle I checked the quality of the undercoating and it had completely worn off. After a week and a half of being bounced between **** ******'s ****** **** **** *******, Diamond Kote and ******** ******* services.(the latter is the company that sprayed Diamond Kote product on my vehicle),I fiscally went to ******'s service centre to get answers for this $600.00 fiasco. Now ****** is saying that I should have gotten annual reminders to my email to come in and have my vehicle inspected to keep the warranty valid.( I never received a reminder.) Lesson Learned (trust in business is a mistake.)read between the lines.I would like feedback on these companies .thanks

    Hello *****, We would love to find out more about your situation as we ( Diamond Kote) have not had any formal claim submission from you or any other contact regarding your file from which to provide a formal assessment or decision. If you have a concern with peeling sound shield (not from wear) this may be something your coverage is in place to address but a formal claim would be required. Kind Regards.

    I purchased ***** Comfort Ownership for 72 months together with my *** in 2018 at ******* *****. ***** comfort is an extra fee for warranty that covers almost everything including windshield replacement. Because I live in Alberta I think I need this as I saw a lot of people cars with cracks windshield. Since this warranty is an extra fee so I don’t include windshield replacement with my car insurance because it will cost me higher premium fee every month. In early October like it or not I had windshield replacement so I checked my ***** ownership paper that should be covered. I email **@*********.ca and the agent said unable to process because “ I should make a claim under my insurance policy”!! This doesn’t make sense!! If I claim it to my insurance policy meaning they will charge me more for premium fee every month and this is not explained when ***** offered me this warranty purchased. If I knew it from the beginning I will never purchased extra warranty because this means useless. I want my reimbursement for a windshield replacement or refund me the amount I paid for ***** Ownership program $899.00 since I won’t be eligible to make a claim!!!!!
